The economy is falling apart for Gen Z, how are they supposed to survive? 2008 was hell for a lot of Millennials but the "Main St" economy has hardly recovered since then. Drive across America, north to south or east to west, it won't matter, you'll see the same thing, homeless people and tent cities surrounding all the major urban areas, tons of empty/permanently closed signs on small businesses, in some areas it seems like half the businesses in town are closed. Meanwhile, everyone is broke, yet trying to pretend differently with their $700+ monthly car payment and other foolishness. Get yourself an old vehicle made by a Japanese company, they make the best, fix the dusty vehicle up and be frugal. Best wishes to Gen Z, help them out if you can.
Social media is partly to blame as is economics
