Dude, I love the way film looks. Everything about the process and just having that surprise when you get it makes it so worth it. Dope stoff bro.
VideoVibeKev yea dude. I always gave film crap then tried it and I’m hooked haha
Appreciate the comment!
@@jubileesantosfilm haha i totally undertand. No problem man!
Man them photo quality has that subtle but beautiful feel to them. Great video
Yea man film is such a vibe!!! Appreciate it heavy!!
Bro, dope shots!!! Really cool video too!
Nep Talks I appreciate it heavily!!!
Aye my old stomping grounds! Randomly stumbled across your page while looking up different types of film. Love the content, keep it up duder!
FWB is a golden nugget ahaha Appreciate it heavy!!
nice video and pictures and welcome to the film world.
I would have take some pics of the rainbow building in front of the abandoned one as well :)
Ale thanks man!!! The film world is dope!
And I might do that soon!
@@jubileesantosfilm nice! I'll check out next videos then
If I understand, you had both prints and neg scans made by the photo shop? Based on what i saw in this video, the neg scan of your "peace sign selfie" was far superior than the print. Some 5 years ago I had some "lost and found" rolls of 35 (I shot decades ago) neg scanned by a shop. I had a contact sheet printed of all the images, but no individual prints, only scan files. My "thing" then and now is Photoshop perfecting, fixing and repairing pictures shot on negative film, and positive slides, to be viewed on my computer, or device. The reason why I watched your video is because I recently gave my niece this camera (I bought for maybe $7 at an estate sale), and it has become an obsession for her. I want to let her know she isn't alone!
it was mainly bc i sent it to CVS instead of a good lab ahaha
But that's awesome!! it's still my favorite camera
Hey, thanks for the content! I love film photos! Tell me Brother, how do you paint your videos? what LUT are you using? I really like your color correction.
Thank you so much man! I was using Joel F. Sony to Arri LUTs I believe in this video!
I got a little point and shoot (konica big mini). It's delightful and sharp!
That’s so sick!! Gonna have to look up some images. I love this Olympus AF-1, and i just removed the glass element in font of the lens that was there to make the camera water resistant and it made y images 10x sharper!
@@jubileesantosfilm oh nice!!
so so nice!
Thank you!! Appreciate it heavy!!!
i love it
Thanks man!!! I appreciate it heavy!!
Been having trouble with the auto focus with mine. Any tips? I don’t hear anything when I hold the shutter button half way down. So half my roll always comes out blurry.
is this when you do the self timer? or just in general? there's two boxes inside the view finder, one is for focus the other is framing. Also how close was the subject in the photo?
Can I ask about your iso settings?
So the camera I was using in this video is a point and shoot, which does all the settings for me. But I was shooting ISO 200 speed film!!
I know dump question but how do you become your photos digital?
It's not a dumb question!! In this video, i got my film developed and scanned at CVS but I recommend going to a local film lab or sending your film to The Darkroom Lab. Either or those places will develop and digitally scan your film so you can have them on your phone or any electronic thing really!!
may i ask what battery do you used? the size hehehe thank youu
I ca't remember exactly the battery size but you can get it anywhere I believe. I'd just google it!!
did you use the flash when taking the pictures during the daytime?
Thea Chu kinda,
This camera won’t let you turn the flash off. It’s automatic and turns on when the light meter in the camera says the image is underexposed
Most of the time, If you’re in bright daylight if pretty good lighting the flash won’t turn on
@@jubileesantosfilm ahh thanks so much for the reply! Im planning on purchasing my first film camera as well and get into the game. Loved ur video:)
Thea Chu Of course!!!! And heck yea!! It’s such an awesome creative outlet!! Happy shooting!!
Who do you use to get them developed?
For this video i used CVS but I recommend a local photoshop in your area or The Darkroom Lab!
get mine yesterday niceSelf Timer normally blink or anything?
Yes!! Its a timer for 10 Sec. and I think will blink 3 times fast right before the photo is about to be taken
review again pls
That’s actually a video I’m working on right now!!
How do u digitize the films??
I sent my film off to a film lab!! I would recommend using The Darkroom Lab!! They've always done me right in getting my scans and they look great!
does olympus af-10 with olympus lens 1: 3.5 worth it?
Harvey Gee it all depends on what you want really!!
Are you just getting into film?? And what are you wanting in a camera??
If you’re just getting into film and If you just want something simple that you can just bring with you to snag some photos with friends, family, etc. then a point and shoot is a great choice
I looked up the Olympus Af-10 on flickr and the camera take some great photos!! The f/3.5 lens isn’t too much of a problem bc the camera is already automatic so you don’t have to worry about dialing your settings
Here’s the Flickr page link if you want to look yourself: www.flickr.com/groups/1919593@N23/pool/
I think if it’s in your budget and you like the images, go for it man!! Film is fun and I think you’ll enjoy the experience either way!!
@@jubileesantosfilm yep im new to this film. ive already had an canon bf-80 prima but dont have the chance yet to develop my first roll of film.
Harvey Gee love that man!! Well like I said in the last reply, if you like the images of the camera (via Flickr page link) and it’s in your budget, I think itd make a addition to your film camera collection!!
I love my Olympus, it’s such an easy, fun, hangout with friends camera that takes really fun photos!!
@@jubileesantosfilm maybe ill let my first roll to be process before i decide to take another cam
