Last year i traveled around south east asia and I decided to give Taiwan a chance as well. I ended up staying there for 6 months (because of covid) but tbh, I really didn’t want to leave and i stayed there on purpose. There hasn’t passed a single day without thinking about how amazing Taiwan was. Now im back in Belgium but i hope to return asap!! Nice video it takes me back :)

I love Taiwan because of the following points: 1. Excellent medical quality 2. Lots of delicious food 3. Very safe 4. The weather is very warm 5. Very convenient 6. High-tech development 7. Freedom and democracy 8. Enthusiasm People 9. Beautiful beaches 10. Many department stores, a shopping paradise 11. You don’t have to drive a long distance to enjoy the beautiful mountains and beaches. 12. Taiwan is a very important friend of the United States and Japan. 🇹🇼♥️🇺🇸♥️🇯🇵

Born Taiwanese, I have actually live abroad more than home. But when I heard Ludivine describe Taiwan as " you just feel like... Home." I felt the warmth welling up to my eyes. I am so proud of my home, and so happy that you can share this happiness with me.
Actually this video made me cry a bit…I was so touched by the peoples speech/ opinions. Hope everyone in the video will able to come back Taiwan again. Hope this stupid pandemic will go away soon or people can start to travel.
I am really touched. I received praise from British friends for the beauty of Taiwan. Regardless of food, friendliness, nature,.... We really welcome people from all over the world from the bottom of our hearts. Hope and Wish you can like to stay in Taiwan and live on this treasure island with us. I was supposed to go to Taiwan for my student semester in September 2021 and because of Covid I had to defer it to the spring semester but the school decided to cancel my defered semester recently due to lack of visibility over government decisions on border opening. If anyone gets any update on when borders will reopen for students or about new study offers for students in Taiwan I’d be very grateful. Now I have to choose another country but I don’t loose hope on going to Taiwan as a student one day ✨

There is a saying that the most beautiful part of Taiwan is its people. This is a place where you really feel at home and do not want to leave after coming here. I ended up immigrating here and has been in Taiwan permanently for 6 years and counting. Never regret the decision for being able to be here everyday. Taiwan has its own problems, starting with being targeted by tens of thousands of missiles from China, earthquake, typhoon, low pay level, unstable electricity supplies etc. But even after all those problems, this is the place I choose to live.
Thank you for loving Taiwan. We still need to improve in many aspects. We will continue to work hard to turn Taiwan into a better society. Taiwan welcomes you at any time.😘

My favorite place in Taiwan was the beautiful Longshan Temple in Taipei. I went there on a weekend evening and sat on the edge of an open area. On one side of me was a Taiwanese man my age and on the other side were four elderly women. I took everything in watching people come and go as evening became night. Some people were praying, a few were tourists taking pictures, the old ladies next to me enjoyed each others company chatting and laughing, some chanting could be heard elsewhere. Incense permeated the air. I was surprised at the number of young people. It seemed to be a place where people centered themselves, of peace. I'm not Buddhist but felt very much at home. At the airport the next day, my thought was that I was leaving civilization and flying back to O'Hare.
