Coorect, It is crap ! , took ages to finally get the gateway to be recognised and work within the app. I had to add it manually to the "Home" app first and then I managed to get it to work. But now it doesnt recognise any of my windows or wall controls. Terrible and a real surprise that it can be so bad !
Good explanation, but if you manually adjust will the windows still close if it starts to rain, or as stated the schedule picks up the following day, or perhaps separate functions?
That's a ridiculous number of steps for such a simple device. I am a hard core DIY'er who roots custom roms on my android phone, replaces macbook screens, etc, but half thru this I was already angry at the moron who designed this app.
This is really crap! Sorry guys but Philips Hue and others are way ahead... I m trying to install it and it keep saying to me "error / unenspected error" in at least 3 steps already.. hands off..
it gets even better when it doesn't even recognise the new remotes in the kit, hilarious! ... And do we want to talk about the need to dismantle the devices to take out the batteries to (try) to couple the whole thing? (and yes, it's less then 1 meter away from the gateway)

Stll it has problems. I cannot find a way to connect it to my 2,4Mhz home network! Tried everything, searcehd the whole web, nothing. Tottaly NOT user friendly. You should be very ashamed Velux for such a nice products and crapy additional smart controls. Shame on you!
