When drifting, handbreak is literally your best friend, used for slowing down a bit, getting the right angle and positioning your car where you want it

Just a tip : If you use controller you can Accelerate and brake (no handbrake) simultaneously to control your drifts better, trust me !

Whenever you are doing stunts involving spins you can hold space and either a or d to spin really fast

Eric you should try some of Goosiest drift stunts on youtube
how asked in the video how to control your speed in the drift i wanted to try and help you with that and the trick in the drifting is that in the drift you dont need to slam the throttle just a little bit just dont try to hold it on transitions and you will also need to rase the tire pressure to make the car slow and make it more slidy and you need to get a bigger angle on the drift throught the turns aswell. If it helps youre welcome but if it doesnt i just drift in other game named assetto corsa but i think you can use the same theory in gta.

to slow down while drifting you have to press and hold the handbrake but that also takes practice
7:20 I did a clean one of those without trying I was just driving and it happened on a drift server also I was going fast

on controller you can control the car with brake and accelerate at the same time. on the keyboard its hard to press w and s at the same time.
