Thanks for the video. That one site with the 174 number looked like it use to be a road at one time. It looked like it was two track after those rocks which blocked it off. Another area to put on my list of places to go.
I love how you walk down in all the campsites and show us all the little details. It's a big help for planning our next camping trip and finding awesome new areas we haven't considered before.
I saw the gold trout. I can remember going to little river in the 90's and catching some really nice browns. Stayed in spring and enjoyed the turkey hunting, trout fishing, ramps and mushrooms. Loved the place.
Thanks dude. Big help. Finding disbursed camping is such a hassle. Vid like this are super helpful. And close to Snowshoe- might be a good place to camp when mountain biking snowshoe.
@@LivingOurDreamNow my little channel is basically for myself and for the same as you- to pay it forward since I benefit from other channels by being able to check trails and areas out before I go, so I know that feeling. Like to let others know that their work is appreciated.
Omg I love this place and I can't wait til the kids see it thanks for making these videos I watch alot of different ones and I like how you really show the whole places and area
These videos are great, I have found out about 3 excellent dispersed camping areas that I had no idea about previously, despite spending quite a lot of time in the MNF every summer for years now. Thank you!
Awesome stuff! Videos like this are so helpful when considering an area you've never been to before. Much appreciated. I live in central Ohio but I'm thinking its worth the trip over there to spend a week or two. Adding it to my list.
Just got back today (9-21-22) Our site (#4) was 12.6 miles of gravel road out of Durbin. The forest road was off a side street, Highland Street, I think. I missed it, stopped in the small town of Bartow at Forest Ranger station and they had a detailed map. The towns thru there are have VERY limited grocery supplies. Little River Dispersed is a remote area. No cell service due to a radio astronomy observatory, even in towns of Durbin, Frank, and Bartow.
Most campsites may be accessed with your vehicle next to the campsite. Some campsites require a little walk from the vehicle, but still in close proximity. Thanks for watching!
@@LivingOurDreamNow Look carefully at 8:44, I see 4 in the stream. Golden trout were stocked in Little River in 2020 as part of the gold rush stocking.
U show a bunch of nice places to camp but u were filming a big deep hole of water an u never seen those 2 golden trout laying right in front of u you just keep talking an moving on down around the site but good stuff u maybe should pay more attention to the wild life next time it might be a big bear lol

Thanks for showing all this campsites, planning a trip on July and you show me great places !!!
Have fun! I'm pleased you found the information in my videos useful.
Nice tour of the campsites. Thanks!
Looks great.
Appreciate the feedback. Safe travels.
Thanks so much for these videos! If I go mid week in July will i get a spot?
Have backup plans, primary and alternate dispersed camping locations. Stonecoal would be an alternate for little river.
Great vid !!
About how many camp sites are there ?
At least twenty, some places are big enough for several groups
They stock a lot of trout in there at certain times of year,
Thanks for watching Milton. Lou
Can you pull your vehicle up to the camp sites here?

Has anyone else seen the golden trout in the video?
A golden trout in this video? Can you point me to the time stamp. I shot the video and didn’t pick up on a golden trout. Lou
