She definately doesn't sound the same. After Back to Basics, she made a sharp decline after Bionic era. And also 37 is not old enough to make age an excuse, Beyonce is 37 and, despite the darker tone, she's still pretty good (their both mezzos btw). Or look at Barbara Streisand, 76 and still amazing. I'm not trying to hate on Christina but the damage is apparent, she's barely hitting Eb5s and E5s anymore (probably a good thing anyway), and her struggle to sustain D5s and C#5s was apparent. In 2006 she could sustain E5s (raspy and technically awful but it didn't she was about to crack).
