Aldi Satya Mahendra: Indonesia's First Motorcycle Racing World Champion

Aldi Satya Mahendra made history in Jerez as he crossed the line to be crowned the 2024 FIM Supersport 300 World Champion, becoming Indonesia's first ever motorcycle racing world champion. It also marked the first time an R3 bLU cRU World Cup rider (Aldi finished second in the R3 Cup last year) progressed to win a world championship. It wasn't a straightforward season for the Indonesian, but there were a number of highlights, including his victory in Misano and sharing the podium with his brother in Magny Cours.
