Holly Janes, PhD - COVID Vaccine Efficacy Trial Designs, Open Questions and Statistical Challenges

Holly Janes, PhD is Professor, Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division and Public Health Sciences Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Janes is a biostatistician working on the design and analysis of vaccine studies, with a particular expertise in HIV prevention and vaccine science. She develops and applies statistical methodology for evaluating biomarkers for risk prediction and optimizing treatment decisions. She is also Associate Head, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology Program, Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at the Fred Hutch.
