I always love your positive, cheerful podcasts where you share your knits. Diana, I definitely send prayers to you for quick healing. It sounds like you are blessed to have family nearby to care for you, and I'm sure you have several friends as well. I absolutely LOVE the sweater you are making for your granddaughter! I only have grandsons, so I don't get to knit those sweet sweaters! Kaity, your Lyon sweater is beautiful! I always pick up extra stitches in the underarms to prevent holes.

It has taken me two weeks on and off to watch this fabulous episode, so I hope that your surgery has gone as well as it could possibly go Diana and that your recovery is smooth and steady. Let yourself be looked after and fussed over just a little, your children will likely want to shower you with the same love it is evident you have sprinkled throughout their lives ❤ Kaity I am knitting Adelita by Sari Nordlund at the moment and it is a lovely knit and quite quick once you get into it. I love the look of her new book too! Take care you two! Look forward to the next episode whenever it comes!
Hi Kaity & Diana, I found a beginner pattern that has a 4 hour tutorial with instructions on each step. The designer is Jessica McDonald and the sweater is Woodsmoke. The sizes are from baby to adult. Since I’m a beginner I’m going to make a little one for my grandson for next winter(because I slow still). I’m just starting on my swatch so I have only watched a little bit of the tutorial and so far it’s great. It’s on RUclips. I wouldn’t be a good sister if I didn’t mention my sister, Jennifer Wood the pattern designer of Woodhouse Knits. She is retired now but her patterns are still on Raverly. I will say her patterns are advanced. Diana I will be praying for you and I wish you a successful surgery and the best recovery ❤️

I just love your podcasts!!!! I had my ranunculus split for sleeves and had started on the body. As I was changing cord length I dropped about 10 stitches (cause I’m too cool to use stoppers 🙄). I had to rip it all out because the drops went up into the increases and lacework. It’s sitting in time out for a couple days 😊

Anthology Throw - leave a tail and close up the hole. 😊 it's what I did. And I just kept knitting the mini until it ran out. I didn't change when the pattern said too. And I used the Clasped Weft Join so no ends to weave in. There are a few RUclips videos.

I absolutely love watching your podcasts. I started at the 1st episode and little by little made my through to this one. They are inspiring and peaceful to watch, and you both have become knitting friends. :) Could I just suggest that you share the size of the sweaters you're working on? I am similar size to Kaity and it would be very helpful to get an idea of what would fit me. Thank you for the time you put into these videos so you can share with us the joy of knitting. I have hardly ever won a prize in any contest but my story is similar to yours, I had to sell $50.00 tickets for my daughter's volleyball team. I am not a sales person. I ended up buying 2 tickets and won two prizes - a big screen TV and a trip for 3 to Disneyland for a week -(we live in Northern Canada so this was a big prize).
