    So glad you made it safely, and glad you guys are showing the Bangkok areas. The streets are narrow, and noticed that the 5 lane highways are opposite flow of traffic, than US. All steering wheels on cars are on the inside right side of vehicles instead of the left. That pretzel looks scrumptious! Ttysoon. 👍👋

      You’re quite welcome ☺️ Actually, we did have a little encounter one time. I acted quickly and luckily Ray was with us. So he picked Fiona up and I had Mango in my arms, and I shouted at them “No”’ loudly..it seemed to work well. But honestly I’d be very careful where you walk and also where you decide to live. Visit the street a few times and walk it..without your dogs.
      There’s lots of packs but they are out quite away from town and the beach area here.
      🫶🏼💖

      Carlos..I feel you on this one. It’s absolutely the HARDEST part of moving here. But just know if you fly a good airline like we did, they are in good hands and will be Fine 🙏🏼 It’s hard though to think about, but we’ve flown our dogs here twice and there were Zero issues!! 💜💜💜

      Oh my, they have to be in cargo? I have 2 Shih Tzu not only are they very hot dogs prone to over heating very easily but they must be hand fed every 6-7 hours otherwise they get sick from empty tummies, they’re a toy breed.

    Hi, can you share if it is possible to travel with a small dog on public transport in Bangkok?

    • @ThirdThaisaCharm

      Hi!
      Public transport with pets is not allowed as far as I’ve ever heard. Even in a stroller or carrier..but the are allowed in many malls and lots of restaurants. There is now a “dog friendly “ option though when booking a Grab which is really nice!

    Hi Tracy! I am going to ask you a silly question and maybe I will sound like a dummy but I hope you can answer me because I cannot find an answer. I am filling up the Import R1 form and there is a field "Coming from....Flight...Date....Time ...." that I have to fill up and due to transitioning in Doha I am not sure if I should put Coming from DOH, Qatar and the flight info of that specific flight or if I should put Coming from Montreal, Canada and put the info of that flight that only flies from Canada to Doha. I am inclined to write the info of Doha to BKK flight because it makes more sense to me but wondering if you could remember what you wrote there as you also had a layover in Doha. Thank you in advance!!!

    how has your experience been in Bangkok with your dog? do most parks in Bangkok refuse entry if you have a dog?
    I'm considering bangkok but I'd need some grassy area near my home so my dog can do his business.

    • @ThirdThaisaCharm
      @ThirdThaisaCharm  11 месяцев назад +1

      That was what we struggled with in BKK. Benjakitti Park now has a dog friendly zone I’ve read though! We had a hard time finding grass for Fiona when we lived there. If you find a home with a grassy area I’d say that would be ideal ☺️❣️ I miss Bangkok but for now especially with Fiona, Hua Hin is ideal for us. Mangos so tiny he is easier if we ever move back one day 💫 Thank you so much for watching! Keep us posted on your move!!!!

    • @ThirdThaisaCharm

      You will want to contact a USDA Vet in your area and go from there. It’s quite a lot and timing is everything. But we’ll worth the effort. Also be sure to fly during cool season and fly with a good airline as well 🙏🏼

    Hi Tracy! Please tell me if you needed an Import Permit for Qatar because you transited through Doha with Fiona? Also, how long was layover? I had a choice for 3 or 8 hours layover and I chose the latter just because they say if it is more than 4 hours, they walk the dogs, feed them, fresh water, bigger cage etc. Please tell me how it was for you and your baby Fiona. I am trying to stay positive but this feels the most stressful situation for me. We will leave from Canada on June 5th and will arrive there on the 7th. Such a long journey for my baby girl...

    • @ThirdThaisaCharm
      @ThirdThaisaCharm  Год назад +2

      Hi!
      We had a quick 3 hours which turned out to be 1.5 hours and we were back on our flight to BKK.
      No import permit as it was so fast.
      Try not to stress…I know it’s not easy but our babies feel our emotions and energy and just know that you all will be here before you know it and she will be just fine as you are flying one of the best airlines with her 🥰🙏🏼☺️

      Hi Octola,
      We did fill this form out 10 days before we departed from California. But we never heard back from anyone in Thailand…so we just departed the country and upon arrival at Animal Quarantine we ended up having to fill one out there with them and paid 500 or 600 baht. So no worries about that form if you don’t hear back from them or get any confirmation. You’ll do it here! Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏼 Happy Journey with your pet 🩵🧡

      @ThirdThaisaCharm yes. I say this because nearly all western males in Thailand are in relationships with local women and this is also true among western women - they tend to be married to Thai men, not other westerners. The system is partly set up to make it more difficult to live in Thailand if you aren't married to a local. Not that it's impossible! It just is what it is.
