    Oh! so charming Schon Rosmarin it is, especially steady flying spiccato bowing is so natural and graceful much. (91yrs.Japanese)

      Have a good look at my other reply about fingering and you'll see how I don't use my pinky on the E...it's better to go into 2nd or 3rd for a stronger vibrato on the E. Beautiful piece, isn' it? So glad you're playing it! Mary❤️

    My violin has been set up by very good luthier violin maker but is it still possible my strings are too high?

    • @violinstudiowithmaryv
      @violinstudiowithmaryv  8 месяцев назад +2

      Hello Debbie! Yes, it is entirely possible that your strings are too high! I very quickly got terribly sore fingers after a new bridge was fitted so the luthier lowered the bridge for me quite happily, but drew the line at making the strings too low, as that affects the sound. He told me it's a quite frequent request. Mary❤️

    I'm trying to figuring out the fingering you use! Any chance you could describe the fingering for the first 3 bars?

    • @violinstudiowithmaryv
      @violinstudiowithmaryv  8 месяцев назад +2

      Hello Debbie! Start with 2 open D, 3rd position 1 3 D harmonic, then in third position I reach back with my 1st finger for the C#, 2nd finger on E, 1st on D#, then 1st position 3 2 2 1 for D C# C B.
      If you can follow that, you're a genius! Mary❤️

      @@violinstudiowithmaryv it makes perfect sense. I do follow. I'll give it a go. Did notice you're the first person that played the d with harmonic. I have already been doing that since I saw you do it but couldn't tell what you did after that
