May I make a suggestion ammonium nitrate & fuel oil, use the tannerite to ignite the AFFO if that doesn’t make a big bang, I’ll always think it should have. That’s what Timothy McFay used.
keep in mind also, an explosion will seek the easy wat out, make sure you pack mud or what ever all the way around and more important on top . leaving you an enuff pipe to see, even frozen, you'll get a better bang for your buck.(U.S. Army Artillery Scout and Demo, says this, kaboom!
And now that they have holes into the dam. Cap one end of pipe. Run it under or thru the dam. Fill it up & cap the other end. Would be nice to go one end to the other if you had enough tannerite. Possibly with a little additives in the mix as someone else mentioned. lol
You can detonate the ammonium nitrate w an M80 firework. You’ll just need to add an extended fuse

Yeah, a thinner material would work better. We chose a pipe to get it down further into the lodge.
