Fun fact: the guy who plays Dracula in dead by daylight also voices Winston in overwatch. So technically overwatch is in dead by daylight 😂

It was a little unclear from the trailer, but Alucard is a premium costume you can use that replaces trevor as the survivor. Trevor also comes with several costumes of other belmonts from his liniage.

Crispin Freeman is back as Dracula!!! So great to hear him lending his voice for this role again, especially considering the work he did for Hellsing.
Dracula is absolutly a blast to to play. He can turn into a bat to make distance, turn into a wolf to track survivors, and use a fire attacks in his vampire form.

Konami keeping up the longstanding trend of throwing cameos at anything and everything so they don't have to put out an actual game. What I would do for a good Castlevania return!
Also, I saw someone mention that it's Winston's VA but more importantly, it's Alucard from Hellsing! One of the best vampire renditions!

Alucard is a Legendary Skin for Trevor
God you will not BELIEVE how unimaginably fun Dracula has been for me. I havent had this much fun with a killer in a long time! I like Wraith, Twins, Trapper, and so on, but Dracula is up there for me.
EDIT: Oh, in case you didnt realize it, Dracula can transform into three forms, each with their own power. His default vampire form is the slowest, but you can shoot a line of fire pillars that can pass over low-hanging obstacles like pallets and whatnot. Its a bit tricky to determine what can and cant be passed through at times, but if you know what places it can pass through, you'll catch survivors off guard just fine. In his wolf form, he's a bit faster, can track survivors through scent orbs and see their scratch marks better (scratch marks are a trail of scratches that follow survivors who run), and even perform a double lunge, the second lunge being shorter but great for turning corners. The bat form is the fastest one of all, but you cant see survivors, BUT, you can see their scratch marks and hear noises.

The Nurse will also get a Death skin in honor of Dracula's stalwart companion throughout all of the games.

He's really fun to play and has 3 modes
Vampire in which he can shoot pillars of hellfire
Wolf: Which gives him advanced tracking and a pounce attack
Bat: In which he's very fast and can teleport to vault locations from 32 meters.
Very fun to play against and also as.
He also got a great buff yesterday which makes him even better.
That diversity of gameplay for him sounds like a blast 🤩
Would like to recommend you guys check out Fear and Hunger and maybe it's sequel F&H: Termina.
Worm Girl has a good video titled "What actually happened in the dungeons of Fear & Hunger" would highly recommend that to check out, she also has one for the sequel.
Omni World has some shorts about quick lore of the characters, NPCs, and enemies.

Dracula can Transform into a Wolf and Bat at will and Hunt Survivor. He is a bit clunky to be honest and Not so fun to Play but ok..the Alucard you saw is a Skin for Belmont
Dracula's very fun to play, and he's versatile.
Now, we need to wait for Mario characters to appear in the role of the victim and Bowser to appear as the killer.

Dracula is definetly my new favourite. I even stopped doing daily quests and just play him all the time while listening to organ music. It just feels right for the gameplay but I have a feeling I am slowly turning into a weird serial killer :D

Looked more like Simon Belmont in the second trailer, the original Belmont from the first game.
Something that sets Castlevania apart from many of its classic video game peers was its lack of dedicated heroes, each entry typically following a different protagonist at a different point in the timeline. In a way, Dracula himself is arguably the most iconic character, and certainly the most regular. As a result, it suits DBD like an elegant, red-stained glove.
Trevor Belmont is the survivor but he has various skins, 2 of which where he cosplays 2 of the other Belmonts and one legendary skin where he entirely becomes Alucard with different lines and stuff
