Kenya mourns death of veteran radio personality Mambo Mbotela

The media fraternity and the country at large are mourning the death of veteran journalist Leonard Mambo Mbotela. According to his family, the 84-year-old had been ailing and was hospitalized for two weeks at a Nairobi hospital before succumbing on Friday morning. President William Ruto led Kenyans in mourning Mbotela saying he will be fondly remembered for his broadcasting prowess and mentorship of young broadcasters.
