Hi Eva. With regards to cabin steward, to my knowledge, there is no cruiseline in the world that would hire a cabin steward without experience. Cabin stewards are required to be knowledgeable about cleaning chemicals and how to properly dispose them. They also have to have vast knowledge in the hospitality industry’s it doesn’t just involve cleaning. They need to make beds, fold towels and clean cabins to the highest of standards. Their jobs are well paying and they brush shoulders with guests which means they require good communication skills. Most cabin stewards will require 2 years experience. Most get promoted internally from general housekeeping to stewards if you don’t have experience
the cruise ship job all require working experience in order to work IMMEDIATELY on your first sign on day. By saying that, that's no more training will be provided once you get on cruise ship.
Those entry level jobs receive a million and one applications including from those with experience and education in that field. so they end up picking those with experience. your chances of being hired without experience are slim to none.
