    His patience and IQ will allow him to be a high level PG for 3-5 more years... that is if is body permits. Cp’s career has been plagued with injuries. People forget how athletic he used to be. Hopefully he stays healthy this year and gets the best out of melo and the other new additions. They can absolutely compete with GS this year, just not sure how they could pull off winning 4 in a 7 game series. If they find a way to do it though, the attention to detail video would be amazing lmao

    • @VaoDxArchAngel
      @VaoDxArchAngel 6 лет назад +28

      They would have won this year if cp3 didnt get injured so its really not that hard to imagine them winning this year if no injuries occur. Cousins is the wild card

    • @coleransom8250
      @coleransom8250 6 лет назад +5

      VaoDxArchAngel even if Cousins fits in with the warriors I could still see them having trouble stopping HOU in the 2nd Q. Cp usually subbed out early in the 1st so he can run with the second unit and kill teams’ backups. This year they’ll likely start the quarter with: CP, Gordon, Green, Melo, Chriss. That’s a crazy problem for any teams backups

      Cole Ransom he is 6ft too. It’s difficult to be so short and be able to stay in the league that long. He is also a top player too so it’s amazing how hard he works. Look at Westbrook he best Paul in height quickness and athleticism but Paul still plays well against these top athletes who are as good as him

      Power to one direction. If the defender close that direction, spin to the other side. Make sure the destinations both are viable to get your shots off. Footwork and pivot. Youcan always add some pivot moves even after u stopped dribbling. Try hook shots. Shoot a jumper when ur open and have some space. Prevent your shot to be blocked by jumping towards the shot blocker to neutralize him. The skill kinda needs to be worked tho still. Also u gotta be good around the glass since u will have it harder to get a shot off

  • @ReCharredSigh
    @ReCharredSigh 6 лет назад +2

    You kinda touched upon it, but cp3’s shot mechanics are a bit different from others. His release point is a bit higher and directly above his head, rather than lower, and in front of his head, like say damian lillard or kyrie or steph. This does make it harder to block against an up-close opponent, but if you are not fairly strong in your upper body and arms, it’s much tougher to shoot quickly and accurately from longer ranges with this type of motion; derozan and livingston also shoot from an above-my-head release, but tend to have line-drive arcs, and struggle with 3 pt range, for instance.
    I honestly believe cp3 is really strong in his upper body and arms compared to his rival point guards, which is why he can shoot like this and still be very efficient; notice how even though the ball is brought above his head, he still shoots with a very good arc; that to me is a huge sign that he must be putting a lot of upper-body strength into his shot motion.
    If you have a naturally skinny body, it might be better to learn how to shoot faster, and develop a quicker transition from a live dribble to your shot motion, rather than try to mimic cp3’s shot mechanics; you can of course, try to copy everything else he does.

    • @michaeljordan7384
      @michaeljordan7384 6 лет назад

      ReCharredSigh yeah and also it might not be smart to mimic his shot if u have a big head because your elbows would not be in the V or L shape
