Welp it's depends on how much enemy team stack magic resist, cause mr tank iteams are really broken in this season. If u face multi tank/brusier building mr iteams, Taliyah have no %dmg in her kit and you get fucked, cause you deal no dmg because magic pen iteams sucks. But vs squishy you just one shot them if they don't one shot you so ye it's depends
How do you lane vs Ap Twitch mid btw? Once he throws his poison at me, stacks go up and he outbursts me in second. Can't roam safely either.
Maybe Phase Rush is na option, cause you can just run away from him, while also taking tp to match his roam at least or just to have safer laning phase and them you one shot him if he doesn't one shot you first

You haven't played any mages if you think the actual 'mages' are op when there is an mr item that gives 80 base mr + a 600 mr shield on top. force of nature gives 125 mr too now.
the only op thing about the 'mages items' is that they're bursty but they only work well on champs such as fizz and akali and other assassins (somehow akali escaped nerfs this patch)
