That’s because high level don’t matter on pc when I swapped from Xbox 360 payday to pc I joined a random heist and got instantly cheated to max level because the guy was a hacker
honestly, ovk/starbreeze should've never done crossplay, due to how shit and wonky diesel engine is and that it's more than likely not even designed for crossplay across different launchers i'm still fucking hating U237 due to how clunky everything has become

Going to be honest, first 16 minutes of the vid super boring, but the rest of the video, ace, really liked it. I just think the intuitive menu stuff doesn't need explaining.

My issue with payday 2 is I tried joining in many years after launch and everyone who plays has 120000 hours and a certain way they expect you to do everything. There is no fun, no discovery... and no earning cosmetics since there are like 90 DLCs you need to own to have any of the cool stuff.
well it's a 10 year old game so you can't expect many players to not know the ropes. although the game is plagued with dlcs, they always go on sale for pretty cheap on steam. i got the legacy bundle for $10.
Grinder is just a health regen deck that locks you into suit/lbv, nothing specific to weapon fire rate. You might be thinking of Muscle, another health regen deck which can cause enemies to panic by shooting near them, which is going to happen more often with faster firing weapons. But even then, it's not the main draw of the deck. In both cases, it's just about having more health and having that health regenerate.

The starting weapons are fine on dsod, Tiss just a skill issue for those who can’t keep up. If your looking for the win button that’s comes down to where you put skills, and what gun you do bring. If the gun has high dmg it props has low ammo pick up, so you may want to bring fully loaded ace, this ignores ammo issues for most guns. If your having trouble with body armor or the gun not doing enough dmg Surfire aced for ignoreing armor, and then NOT DODGE but just Crit to boost dmg, if your struggling with health then get yourself a joker to help with health regen, and if it’s survival but your killing then maybe get headshots = armor to keep gating dmg by having at least 1 point of armor. And as far as armor goes 2 piece suit is pretty good overall that movement speed is nice, and 1 point of armor is all you ever need to ignore dmg…. Throwables, flashbangs are pretty good, especially when you run fully loaded, but even then you can and may always use a specific perk deck to use a usable instead. Gun wise literally anything and everything works, just ( get good ) and bring proper skills to boost the weapon you choose…. Best way to play payday is pick a skill you want to use then match it to weapons, or pick a weapon you want to use and match it to skills.
Im sorry to tell you, but you didnt see anyone above lvl 20 bc most of the playerbase have jumped ship. The epic players arent gonna last, and the actual players arent gonna come back. I get youre an overkill partner and gotta make payday 2 content but playing/supporting the game is gonna give them the impression that it was a good decision. Epic players need to go away, helping them will keep the problem going.

I hope this will bring in a new wave of players and invigorate veteran players to play a bit more before the third PAYDAY releases.

The whole perk and point system is what held me off from really playing this game. I liked the simpler demo alot more
