I have to laugh at all the haters Josh gets because he is successful. Most people are too lazy to even research how to build a longbow, let alone do it, then build it a second time, work hard enough to fund the trip, then become proficient with the bow and to top it off, kill a grizzly with it. Keep sitting on the couch and hating people, more for everyone else who is willing to put work in to succeed. Great video and story.
I think you articulated something that the video didn’t quite capture “…then become proficient at the [6 day home made] bow…”. Basically a ton of behind the scenes sweat, effort and money in pursuit in a dream.
Seeing that makes me incredibly humble and, at the same time, sad. Such a beautiful animal, strong, free. I can understand the desire to hunt; I believe it's deeply rooted within us. Perhaps I've been too softened, too shaped by city life, but I would prefer to see this bear alive. Knowing I could kill it but choosing not to take that final step out of respect would likely be my own path. But don't get me wrong, I don't condemn or judge you or hunting... May God protect you. Greetings from Germany
Id say it was. Hunting was necessity to keep us (human) alive in the old times, nowadays hunting for fun is stupid. Invasive species yes, anything else no. IF there is bear that is way too close a city, relocate it or kill, otherwise let it live if no harm is done. 32:35 Dreaming of unnecessary cruelty to an inedible animal? Wtf is wrong with you. A real hunter doesnt smile or takes pictures with its prey. What a true north american "warrior"
If you don't like it, stop watching
It’s so amazing that you can go all over America to hunt all types of animals and put in so much work! Because of your channel I want to start bow hunting. Keep up the hard work👍
Why you should kill animals like a grizzly bear? Get a chicken or something but not a bear come on
why not a grizzly. hes putting all the skin fur and meat to perfect use@@Jakub.763
he makes the bear look small lmaoo
How you can be so happy to kill such a innocent beautiful animal? Sad world man…
Eminim ki sende masum hayvanları yiyorsun
And often he said its a monster. Man, you need hide to kill this animal... Its such a beautiful creature.
Because it's a challenging, dangerous thing to hunt and is necessary for wildlife conservation? This isn't a teddy bear, it's a real bear that will really kill you if it chooses to.
Dont knock it till you've tried it
Amazing... just to be a "Shaking" part of the intense wait, patient amount of time, the knowledge, timing... & with your own made bow!
At my age and physical condition: most likely not even a chance with a firearm? Most certainly not with a bow!!! Truly... Thank You, J
How are you happy you killed a helpless bear from point blank range😂😂
Seems like you need to be educated on what a bear is and how hunts like this are necessary for conservation.
“Helpless” it’s a grizzly bear and you think the injured young animals that it killed to eat wasn’t helpless
i bought my first traditional bow yesterday because i wanted to get a jump on practicing for the traditional classic 3d shoot coming up in a few weeks but im also in the middle of doing the research so i can start my own bow build from scratch. im hoping ill have a stave i can work on soon and by the end of summer hopefully have my self built bow ready for shooting. but in the mean time, ill be shooting this purchased traditional and theres nothing wrong with that! cant wait to get my first traditional harvest and finally be a part of that cycle of life and one step closer to being prepared for my move onto the mountain!
Why would you kill a bear minding his business you reeled him in and decided to kill him? Just wondering ? I’m my mind that’s kinda messed up cause he didn’t deserve to die that day . But y’all may have other opinions ?
Oh my gosh, YESSSS! My husband and I have been waiting to see this! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
why would you kill such a big animal and for what, its fucked up and i dont respect it
And ? Who are you ? Who cares about your opinion?
Who are you, this guy does not want or need your respect
Leave the chickens for everyone else made me chuckle, well done bro
What an amazing experience to watch this. Josh, congrats my man, you always knew you could do it and you did! I'm inspired indeed.
This video is so epic!! I just found your channel and it’s amazing!!! Funny thing is I’ve recently been debating getting into archery and bow hunting and after watching this I’m sold. Thank you for everything you do and keep making amazing content!!!!!
And what did you kill it for? For your fun? A really good role model......
It was hunted for enjoyment and thrill of the hunt but you are only highlighting the negatives of hunting. When there are many positives to it.
I feel the same about deer hunting people hunt it and it eat but do they actually need the food/meat?
These people that comment nonsense make me sick! Hunting and Conservation has PROVED to be great for the balance of the echo system. Bears also have to be regulated. It's about sustainability!!! And who cares if he hunts a bear, mind your business. If you don't like the content don't view it!!!
such a cool video. My dad has been stick hunting antelope for 20 years, We could get one every year with a rifle, but if he ever gets one with a bow it will be the biggest trophy on the wall no matter how big it is. Congrats bro.
For what? Fun? Why killing such a beautiful animal just for fun and fame, you are crazy
To eat
who eats bear@@kyranthez927
@tortuga990 some people live from eating bears
Calm down Peta.
it was a great shot, it showed great patience and skillfulness
Awesome Bear, Bow, Video and hunt. From one kid who grew up on a dirt road and hunts and makes my own bows , that my friend was great ! 😊
Man mad props to you and your family on a crazy successful hunt! Keep it going Mr Josh. Thank you for sharing
well done you killed living for literally no reason.
GG
grow up
@@fernandorochamedeiros5684yes its the circle of life
@gregabott5583 boohoo killing for fun, you can't even prove that, grow up.
@gregabott5583 people say hunters kill for fun literally anything, your point is meaningless just like his.
The only thing I hate about the video is the child handling the arrow. Don't give the arrows to the child ..it's pretty dangerous and careless
Congrats Josh!! You inspire all serious hunters to dream and chase after their dreams!! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I dont think ive ever seen Josh shake! Lol way to go buddy!
