- When i first came in, I can't tell you what i did. You can't go anywhere else for curtains. it's more than worth the trip to come here for curtains.

She's the kind of lady who has hard candy in her purse she dutifully passes out to all the kids she meets. Beautifully put together and a joy to all her friends. She's not crazy. She's wonderful.

I never saw the beginning of the video about Coventry. She is not crazy. She is woman who is positive and house proud. I see she was being recorded for a commercial, so I am sure she was creating a more dramatic presentation because she is a people pleaser. She is probably a wonderful grandmother who has special treats for the kids every holiday. She is the salt of the earth. Or was. Sadly, Blanche passed away. She was a hairdresser. A working Mom. Cherish her memory.
Sadly, it appears from Google that Quality Curtain Outlet in Coventry, RI is permanently closed. So there is now NO place to go for curtains.

Well, the prices were so low, there was no way they could stay in business.
I love that everything she says is so extreme and final, and the intensity of her enthusiasm never wanes, no matter how many times she says something. You'd never find something like this curtain anywhere else. You would never find anything like this at this price. "Never. It's impossible. Believe me." I believe her! I also love the way she says "for the spring and summah."

It is not genuine passion. She is in "TV commercial" mode, 100%. There's even a director giving her suggestions and orders off camera. This is not a sincere personality, it's over the top ... although clearly lots of folks in the comment section here find this very comforting and cozy, like this is their favorite auntie.

She is so Rhode Island. You would never think such a small state would have as much of a distinctive accent, speaking style, mannerisms, etc., but it totally does.

Oh my gosh, I could listen to her review every curtain in the store. She has the most comforting energy.
Because what I found here-- you don't understand. Number one, I just moved to Coventry seven months ago and I had so many many many curtains, but you can't compare them to these quality, gorgeous curtains. When I found this place and I came in... I can't tell you what I did. Mmm. I had to. Do the whole house. I had to. I mean, something like this? And the other ones I bought, were so unbelievably beautiful-- you could never find these curtains anywhere. Believe me. You could never. Never. That's why it's worth-- I'm so glad this place is here right around the corner from where I live. Can't go anyplace else for curtains except this place. It's unbelievable what she's got here. It's unbelievable. So beautiful. Look at this. Talk about something different? Ah, for the spring and summer? Brightened up my whole house! So pretty! Matter of fact, when my kids-- everybody, not only my kids, everybody who comes in, they just can't even believe what I have. That I bought these, they can't believe it, because they are so pretty. And I mean, come on! Could you not buy- could you walk out and not buy these curtains? So beautiful. They really really are gorgeous. They are. Believe me. That's why everybody-- this is the only place to come for curtains, though. Believe me. It's more than worth the trip. Believe me. A lot more. This is unbelievable, this place. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Trudel and Claire (St. Onge) Shurko. Blanche was the owner and operator of Terri’s Total Image Hair Salon in Providence until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, music and dancing and resided in Warwick most of her life.
Blanche was the loving mother to: Kimberly Ann Morrison of Coventry, Tammy Jean Morrison-Rice of Providence, Thomas J. Morrison of Coventry and Arthur T. Morrison of Warwick. She was also a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the loving mother of the late Theresa Penta and Deborah Byron. Blanche was also the sister of Robert Trudel, Donna Shurko, Michael Shurko and the late Gerald Shurko.
Her funeral service and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
