People, there can be ways to give a compliment and flatter someone WITHOUT making them uncomfortable and seeming like a predator. Ultimately, sexual harassment can really mess you up in the head (at least I know for me it did)especially if you don't have anyone to talk to about it. It's a really invasive and threatening experience for the victim and telling them to just "relax and be thankful that they said all those good things about you" is not helping.

We finally got to my complex and he literally *locked the doors and didn't let me out the car until I gave him my number* !! I even gave him a fake number and he CALLED it! So I gave him my real number (I blocked him lol) and walked around my complex for awhile so he wouldn't know where I lived. He tried to pick me up for the next FOUR days, but I kept cancelling it to get someone else. Smh idk where they find these people.

I had a weird taxi experience not über , I was at an exo concert and after I took a taxi to my hotel since for some reason I couldn't get an uber and the guy kept looking at me Through the mirror and he asked if I was a Japanese or Korean flight attendant and I said I wasn't and he said "oh really? I usually take these Asian flight attendants to the hotel you're going to so I figured you were a flight attendant" and I just said no and he asked again if I was Japanese or Korean and I said I wasn't and he then goes "oh but your eyes.." He then lifts the outer corners of his eyes with his fingers up and laughs and says "you look Japanese" and I'm just sitting there like...wow ok no I'm not Japanese or Asian in general I'm Mexican and then he just stares and says wow I didn't think that you were Mexican your eyes really do look Japanese and then he spoke in broken Spanish and I was like yeah ok :-) and I just sat there in silence until I got to my hotel 😭

I've never used uber but I have a taxi story. So my family used to use this can company when I was a young girl (I was about 10 or 11) the owner of the company knew my family so much that up until I was 17 he bought me birthday girls. we stopped using the company my senior year of high school because we got a new car. fast forward last year, I call his company because my parents couldn't pick me up from the train station. I get the owner of the company as my driver and he starts talking to me i tell him who I am and it's to see him again. he says to me oh wow you grew up to be so beautiful, I thank him and try to change the subject. but he wasn't done. he tells me things like: on I knew you were going to be pretty since the first time I saw you and oh wow your body has developed nicely. I began to feel uncomfortable so I pertained to have a call until I get home. than I realized I'm $3 short for the ride. he says to me when I tell him this that there are other ways a pretty woman like me can pay for a ride. it was at that moment that I called my little brother to go get change change from the change jar as I waited outside the car. I gave him his money and have never used that company again.

I was an Uber driver a couple months back and I picked up this drunk guy in the city to take him out to the suburbs. We're driving and he's chatty and pleasant then he tells me "My wife doesn't believe I'm in an Uber right now - we gotta take a selfie." He's too drunk to orchestrate this mess so when we pull up to a red light, I tell him to give me his phone and I snap it quick and give it back. So some guy just has a random selfie with me lol I think that's pretty cool.
pre-uber days I had a super creepy taxi driver not charge me for a ride, ask me a bunch of invasive questions, and when he pulled up to my destination, say "where you wanna go baby, just me and you", and start to drive off. I screamed at him to stop the car and ran out. it was horrible.
I don't take Uber, but I had a cab driver pull up to me and pretend he was angry that I had called for a ride and was late because he saw me trying to get away from a guy who had followed me from a bar and was being way too handsy. He gave me a free ride home and told me to be careful. I thank that old Iranian man now, he was such a hero.

I was sleeping over my brother's house and we were sharing a bed and our sister was in a nightclub (my brother and I had plan to go with her, but got sidetracked) so we fell asleep and around 4 am his phone rang and woke me up and he said she called for him to go pick her up (which was weird usually she got a cab) so we both got dressed (by that I mean we put on shoes lol) and went to pick her up when we got there she said that she got in the cab and asked how much it would be and the cab driver said "she didn't need to pay with money they could find other ways" and she told him to stop the car ran out back to the nightclub and called us....thank fully I have never had this experience with taxis or ubers, but I am very protective of my sister since she is younger than me so it really pissed me of.

I guess he was so caught off guard with the fact that I was PERSIAN and in drag that he went as FAR as to ask me to be his WIFE. I was LEGIT GAGGING and crying. I had a weird taxi experience not über , I was at an exo concert and after I took a taxi to my hotel since for some reason I couldn't get an uber and the guy kept looking at me Through the mirror and he asked if I was a Japanese or Korean flight attendant and I said I wasn't and he said "oh really? I usually take these Asian flight attendants to the hotel you're going to so I figured you were a flight attendant" and I just said no and he asked again if I was Japanese or Korean and I said I wasn't and he then goes "oh but your eyes.." He then lifts the outer corners of his eyes with his fingers up and laughs and says "you look Japanese" and I'm just sitting there like...wow ok no I'm not Japanese or Asian in general I'm Mexican and then he just stares and says wow I didn't think that you were Mexican your eyes really do look Japanese and then he spoke in broken Spanish and I was like yeah ok :-) and I just sat there in silence until I got to my hotel 😭

I'm a lesbian and because of hay I was discriminated against by my Uber Driver.The craziest thing that happened to with Uber was I got kicked out of the car for kissing my fiancé. The thing that made it worse was it wasn't a full on make out it was just a peck. He kicked us out and said we couldn't have sex in his car LOL.

I harassed in Subway. I was just ordering my food and I stood to the side to pay and this guy comes from behind me and puts one hand on one side of the ordering table and one on the other side so that I couldn't move anywhere. Now at first I thought he was looking at the sauces cos you know it was very crowded plus he was mumbling a lot of things. But then I realised as I was trying to move, he still didn't move. But after at least 10 seconds he moved and the weird this is as he left, he slid his hands on my shoulder, down my back and off and that made me feel uncomfortable. Plus he was staring at me like what the fuck?? I kinda thought it was funny tho cos his breath stank and i stepped on his toe so he could get off me and he groaned in pain but it sounded so funny.😂😂😂😂

I've never used uber but I have a taxi story. So my family used to use this can company when I was a young girl (I was about 10 or 11) the owner of the company knew my family so much that up until I was 17 he bought me birthday girls. we stopped using the company my senior year of high school because we got a new car. fast forward last year, I call his company because my parents couldn't pick me up from the train station. I get the owner of the company as my driver and he starts talking to me i tell him who I am and it's to see him again. he says to me oh wow you grew up to be so beautiful, I thank him and try to change the subject. but he wasn't done. he tells me things like: on I knew you were going to be pretty since the first time I saw you and oh wow your body has developed nicely. I began to feel uncomfortable so I pertained to have a call until I get home. than I realized I'm $3 short for the ride. he says to me when I tell him this that there are other ways a pretty woman like me can pay for a ride. it was at that moment that I called my little brother to go get change change from the change jar as I waited outside the car. I gave him his money and have never used that company again.

I was an Uber driver a couple months back and I picked up this drunk guy in the city to take him out to the suburbs. We're driving and he's chatty and pleasant then he tells me "My wife doesn't believe I'm in an Uber right now - we gotta take a selfie." He's too drunk to orchestrate this mess so when we pull up to a red light, I tell him to give me his phone and I snap it quick and give it back. So some guy just has a random selfie with me lol I think that's pretty cool.
pre-uber days I had a super creepy taxi driver not charge me for a ride, ask me a bunch of invasive questions, and when he pulled up to my destination, say "where you wanna go baby, just me and you", and start to drive off. I screamed at him to stop the car and ran out. it was horrible.

I don't take Uber, but I had a cab driver pull up to me and pretend he was angry that I had called for a ride and was late because he saw me trying to get away from a guy who had followed me from a bar and was being way too handsy. He gave me a free ride home and told me to be careful. I thank that old Iranian man now, he was such a hero.

I was sleeping over my brother's house and we were sharing a bed and our sister was in a nightclub (my brother and I had plan to go with her, but got sidetracked) so we fell asleep and around 4 am his phone rang and woke me up and he said she called for him to go pick her up (which was weird usually she got a cab) so we both got dressed (by that I mean we put on shoes lol) and went to pick her up when we got there she said that she got in the cab and asked how much it would be and the cab driver said "she didn't need to pay with money they could find other ways" and she told him to stop the car ran out back to the nightclub and called us....thank fully I have never had this experience with taxis or ubers, but I am very protective of my sister since she is younger than me so it really pissed me of.
I was on the fence about this story (I saw the snapchat but didn't see all of it), but honestly, if you think about it, if someone's talking about you're a chocolate bar melting in their mouth and shit like that while you're in their car...yeah, that's not fun. It's one thing to be walking and be able to get away, another to be in a car. Luckily I have had chill rides so far but I worry about my sister being in Cali using it. Lmao.

Gurl omg this reminds me of one of my experiences. I live in LA and we have lots of Arab uber drivers. I was in full drag one time and this Arab uber driver WOULD NOT stop. I guess he was so caught off guard with the fact that I was PERSIAN and in drag that he went as FAR as to ask me to be his WIFE. I was LEGIT GAGGING and crying. He kept saying stuff in Arabic and said he wanted to take me far away from this place and keep me to himself. At that point I was legit scared and I thought I was gonna get traficked. He said he would leave his wife and kids for me and that he wanted nothing more than to kiss my lips. I was so scared that I told him to drop me off where we were and I had to call another uber. But he WOULD NOT leave and stayed put. I started walking and he followed me and said he would not say anything disrespectful. I literally had to run into a random hotel to escape him.

I've been in situations like this WITH my family present in the street or taxi drivers from other places like I didn't like the way men were overly telling me I'm beautiful like I always tell my mom that I feel uncomfortable when strangers tell me beautiful and say oppressing things to me... At the end of the damn trip before I could get out he said I have to give him 5 stars like 3 times before he unlocks the car door to let me out. And my other Uber driver story I had this one guy talk to me for literally the point of when I got in the car to my destination constantly asking why I don't have a girlfriend. it's so annoying when people ask me that because I could be gay or something.
