Wow that looks amazing
Nice tie thanks for sharing
very good think i can now tie the fly
Man, never knew you were tied into that bucktail site. One of my favorites
I'm trying to learn how to tie flies, thank you for the video.
Love the ending scene
That's a good one, Darren.
Nice pattern , this body looks like it would be a good modification for my Mickey Finns !
Great tutorial! I haven't tied much for a couple years and Dad's been asking for bucktails for Christmas, so I've been looking for some simple imitators other than the Black Headed Dace to tie for him. A dozen of these should work great!
Nicely tied pattern, the head is very well proportioned, I picked up some good tips and will apply them to my bucktails in the future.
Good job, I’ll definitely have to try making this fly
This is a lot similar to what I fished in Alaska. Well only one dolly varden on it - and I gave it a whole lot of weight to fish it on the Kenai River. : )
Thumbs up, nice fly.
Nice pattern. Already tied a few of them up.
If you read this old friend, try Haig-Browns streamers. His tend to be a bit sparse but a lot of his fishing was done in estuaries. Not sure if that makes a difference?
Nice pattern Darren. Need to put an order in for buck tail. Lots of flies I want to tie that include buck tail. Keep em coming
Hey man a great fly! Great tying instructions! The tyers I like to watch are those who do narrative tying. I don't enjoy head banging music while tying with no instructions at all, or the high speed video with no instructions, just seems the lazy way through a pattern.
Great tutorial & I've tied & fished this one with great success. Thanks for sharing!👍
nice pattern. Always looking for patterns I can use in the ocean
Awesome and I will be giving this one a tie
