The braid’s weren’t even an issue , nowadays if anyone sees braids period they talk their sh*t , they fail to realize every culture has braids and different types of hairstyles , it’s embarrassing that their this bored.

We're all angry about not only short promo period but the lack of it promotion that was even given in that short time period. Why did the company give Lisa a mainly Korean song when she has no promo there and being a foreigner too? Lisa's favorite song is Money but she said she can't perform it because the company said it wasn't appropriate for their youger audience? Happy she got her solo but so disappointed for us who waited sooo long
I think she choose it korean herself. she is most comfortable with the korean language in music at the moment.

I mean, if they claim that they will not promote her in korea due to some racist attack or something, then atleast we get to see lisa being promoted more internationally but no, even that was lacking.. im really so frustrated, angry and disappointed.. it actually already affects my mental health.

She didn't need to apologize, because she did nothing wrong. Never apologize to the evil people. That was her mistake to apologize without being faulty. I understand the issue of Cultural Appropriattion, but those feaux ponytail braids just wasn't the hill to die on to advance this cause.The braids were not braided from the scalp in corn rows or box braids. Braided hair is not owned by one culture. You right, We have to draw the line somewhere folks. Dez, even if they were her hair color they would have still had issue with it. Lalisa Album recorded 950K copies…only 50K left to become a million. HOWEVER, instead of restocking YG is literally cancelling pre-orders & NOT restocking!!! There’s zero excuse for YG to do such thing. Don’t tell me they didn’t anticipated that much & more
orders for Lisa knowing she’s a GLOBAL sensation! YG got their money from Lalisa Album but don’t want her to be a record breaking Million artist. Through this Lisa’s solo, YG has shown over & over again how they choose to be incompetent and be totally unfair for something that was anticipated greatly by fans & Lisa herself for 5 damn years! Very lacking in promotions & contents from the company esp in South Korea, excuses for not having Lisa perform Money because it deemed inappropriate for kid viewers (!!!??!!!), and sooo much more examples. YG is the most disappointing when it comes to Lisa. I’m so glad she have her own channel so she can promote her artistry and how amazing she is in everything she do.
keep in mind. these are 2 different departments and manifacuting issues can be super unpredictable. for example the KIT album is chip based technology and we have a sudden chip crisis right now in the entire world. even huge companys like sony have serious production issues because of that. But YG should be more transparent about things like that to avoid misinformation and wrong accusations.
Also keep in mind that YG is also involved in the Lilifilm channel now. she doesnt do these Lilifilm behind the scenes stuff on her own. its similar to what happened on Rosés channel.
