You're the most biased about yourself, there's no way you could decide if you're worthy of your life. But would other versions of yourself think you did right? Some may and some may not, depends on their circumstances, what they grew up to believe in, so you think to yourself "what does it really matter? Why should I care about what they care, they definetly didn't live the same circusmtances as me" wich is a fair point, but what if someone lived the exact same circumstances as you? Someone who had the exact same experiences growing up, literally the same, up to the biology, the very same atoms, wouldn't that person be yourself? Then how could they give a different insight on your life if they're exactly as biased as you? You wonder what is being yourself, it's complicated. It even makes you ask what if there's a clone of yourself. So you image you're a scientist you just made a cloning machine, you will clone yourself so you can help yourself make more experiments, the plan is the next: You enter the blue door, where the machine will analyse you and create a copy of every atom in your body and then put it all toegether in the room behind the red door. So you do it, you're ready to create your own clone, you even think about giving them more work than yourself, to relax after all you've done. You enter the blue door, everything is dark, the machine lights up, lighning appears creating the best light show you've ever seen, at 10 cm away from you, you're exited, the machine turns off, everything is dark again, you come out of the room, you look at the left, there's nothing but the wall, you look at your right, you see yourself "HAHA I'VE DONE IT" you hear them say, you look behind you in panic, it's the red door. You start to fear what to be is yourself, you don't know, is it the continuation of consciousness? You don't even know what to be conscious. Is the the physicality of your body, including the brain? But then how can people online recognize you? Wich is a good question, is to be yourself to be recognized as yourself? It doesn't feel right, but it kinda is, because everyone around you recognizes you as yourself, that's why everyone knows who you are. They recognize you when they see you, but can you recognize yourself? What if you've never had a mirror, what if noone could take a photo of yourself, what if you couldn't even be drawn? Is an image of yourself what you seek? Is an image enough? Is a dead person considered a person? But then you ask yourself? Does it really matter? Everyone else recognizes you as yourself, your life still works the same, you just gotta do what you believe you should do, because maybe it's a combination all of the above, there's no losing your essence, because everything you do is something that you could've done, because it's a part of you, whatever you do, you are yourself and not even yourself can negate that. I like the idea of an "Arceus is no longer fucking around" form where it's got the Omnipotent ability from Conquest, it has a 50% boost to all its damage, it has base 150 in everything, and it has a free Leftovers.

Arceus is the one pokémon that can get progressively more OP as the gens continue and not be so controversial. I mean, the God of all Pokémon should be pretty overpowered. Also I like how at 3:50 you can see for a split second that the player that won is called Arceus Defeater, great attention to detail.
0:40 Aaaand that's a big reason why gen 8 ubers SUCKED, because of Arceus's absence. There it was just tons of chaos caused by 2 of the new legendaries. Yveltal tried its best but it's no Arceus.
@@amitysfmthis isn’t really a fair comparison. Roaring moon is weaker to rocks, has worse stab coverage (crunch vs eq) which means it often has to burn Tera for acrobatics or smth. Garchomp also has access to hazard set up moves. That makes it so if you guess the set wrong and switch to deal with dragon dance, you give up free turns of hazards.
I'd love to see a video on Hisuian Electrode. Electric/Grass is a really fun, surprisingly decent defensive typing, and soundproof is an amazing ability that stops more stuff than you might think. It's UU, but that's my favorite tier to play, and I'd love to see it get some coverage.
Even though I would've liked to see a different stat spread or new abilities for H-electrode, I think they really did it justice despite only minimal changes. To me, it turned out better than making it another way overtuned "click the strong STAB move" pokemon.

Priority is indeed crazy, scizor in dp, went from a nobody to top of the usage when platinum and bullet punch arrived, bw had several hazards stacking hyper offensive teams that helped stuff like dragonite, scizor, lucario etc, xy had bisharp, megamawile and aegislash basically putting ou into a stranglehold of guessing games, alongside talonflame which was crazy in vgc and early ou, and gen seven had Zygarde being a major threat before getting banned.
I have to imagine that being able to start as any one type and then being able to turn into any other one type is pretty strong. The number of niches it could fill are uncountable. Whenever there's a problem in the format, I'd look at Arceus to see if it has a solution.

Arceus also has Stored Power now, and with it's natural bulk and type variety it can be a good Win-con or sweeper.... It's bulkier than Mewtwo and Espathra and doesn't have to start out as Psychic type, the cost is in overall power compared to Mewtwo, or flexibility compared to Espathra who gets Speed boosts from it's ability and doesn't need to run Agility That being said a set of Agility, Calm mind, Recover, and Stored power is quite strong, especially using two strong defensive types as your base and Tera

Even if it wasn't viable in ubers (it is atm) it wouldn't drop to OU. That's not how the ubers tier works, pokemon only drop to OU if there are a lot of legitimate reasons to think it would be fair. Ubers usage does not affect any tiering whatsoever, and giratina would be horrible for OU.
Tera-Normal means that any Arceus can pop out Extremekiller out of nowhere, and Extremekiller himself can either become something else on reaction or just Extremekill you harder. If Arceus being able to do anything was scary, now it can be two things at once. Praise the fucking Lord.
I remember as a 7 year old reacting to arceus i had the same réaction as Miraidon in the Thumbnail the best part is i didn't knew he was the god of pokémons cauz its a llama crying with green tears
3:40 skeledirge shrugging off 2x + super effective shadow claw then 2x e-speed and then spamming torch song and winning the 1v1 vs ARCEUS is hilarious and it did not even rely on a type match up very much either (yes unaware but that does not make it less funny)
Its funny that arceus is extremely balanced for how good it is/supposed to be. It doesn't get an ability and it's limited to holding the equivalent of mystic water, soft sand, nevermeltice, etc for everything except normal. And 120 base stats across the board is insane but its nothing compared to the optimised stats of newer pokemon. Arceus would be better if points were taken off its defensive stats and put into its speed and attacks. Or if its special atk was lowered for its attack or vice versa. Or if it became less offensive to put points into defence. You need a stupid dumb ability to be a broken all rounder. Primal groudon for example. I am personally of the opinion that Arceus shouldn't need its ability or held item slot to change type so arceus normal doesn't have an advantage over the others. Furthermore i think arceus should somehow have the ability to become any dual type combination. Which would be a nightmare for smogon having to list all 153 variants. But that would be a ridiculous buff to it without giving it some bullshit mechanic. Normal-ghost arceus is a hard marshadow counter for example so e-killer would be back in business. But to balance it if you want the second type you do require to use the ability multitype and hold a held item. I also think arceus should have the highest base stat total of any pokemon being god so however they do it it needs to barely creep base 780. Base 140 is a little too high to be reasonable but it is nicer and more round than base 135 which is enough to beat 780 and be the first pokemon to break 800 BST not counting eternamax eternatus. That would be so strong though.

It's bulkier than Mewtwo and Espathra and doesn't have to start out as Psychic type, the cost is in overall power compared to Mewtwo, or flexibility compared to Espathra who gets Speed boosts from it's ability and doesn't need to run Agility
That being said a set of Agility, Calm mind, Recover, and Stored power is quite strong, especially using two strong defensive types as your base and Tera
Honestly, it's nice they did, like with all this power creep, the actual GOD of them all, should be buffed to keep this status intact imo

Even if it wasn't viable in ubers (it is atm) it wouldn't drop to OU. That's not how the ubers tier works, pokemon only drop to OU if there are a lot of legitimate reasons to think it would be fair. Ubers usage does not affect any tiering whatsoever, and giratina would be horrible for OU.
Giratina was like top 10 in usage last month in ubers. But maybe that was just to shadow sneak calyrex-s, I'm not sure.
unviability in uber doesnt mean shit in OU. Look at deoxys normal form, the most unviable uber poke but it sure wont go to OU anytime soon

Tera-Normal means that any Arceus can pop out Extremekiller out of nowhere, and Extremekiller himself can either become something else on reaction or just Extremekill you harder.
If Arceus being able to do anything was scary, now it can be two things at once.

Its funny that arceus is extremely balanced for how good it is/supposed to be. It doesn't get an ability and it's limited to holding the equivalent of mystic water, soft sand, nevermeltice, etc for everything except normal.
And 120 base stats across the board is insane but its nothing compared to the optimised stats of newer pokemon. Arceus would be better if points were taken off its defensive stats and put into its speed and attacks. Or if its special atk was lowered for its attack or vice versa. Or if it became less offensive to put points into defence. You need a stupid dumb ability to be a broken all rounder. Primal groudon for example.
I am personally of the opinion that Arceus shouldn't need its ability or held item slot to change type so arceus normal doesn't have an advantage over the others. Furthermore i think arceus should somehow have the ability to become any dual type combination. Which would be a nightmare for smogon having to list all 153 variants. But that would be a ridiculous buff to it without giving it some bullshit mechanic. Normal-ghost arceus is a hard marshadow counter for example so e-killer would be back in business. But to balance it if you want the second type you do require to use the ability multitype and hold a held item.
I also think arceus should have the highest base stat total of any pokemon being god so however they do it it needs to barely creep base 780. Base 140 is a little too high to be reasonable but it is nicer and more round than base 135 which is enough to beat 780 and be the first pokemon to break 800 BST not counting eternamax eternatus. That would be so strong though.
