Bridgend is a lovely station i visited Bridgend while i was holidaying in Wales last year & def a good station to film trains & im loving the other 3 stations & nice to see the 197s on this line aswell brilliant vlog
Great video Simon! I've visited Llanharan before whilst I went to Cardiff last year, but definitely need to visit the other two at some point! Very cool to see 153s still out and about, shame 197s have replaced the Camarthen services which 158s used to run.

Bore Da! Thanks for coming to these 3 local stations! They are less well known! I live at Llanharan myself and it certainly has it's issues for trains. Mainly overcrowding! Hope you had a great time though.
I remember some of these opening, seems like yesterday but was a long time ago! Station announcements are definitely the way to learn pronunciations down this part of the world 😂
Perhaps Network Rail should have electrified from Cardiff Central to Bridgend that would see TfW Class 398 Tram-trains to run west of Cardiff Central. Or perhaps TfW to inherit the Class 379 Electrostars with plans to extend the electrification to Swansea.
Lets be honest we all get it wrong with the pronounciations lol. Still a fun vid to watch with the Vastly Superior Sprinters still in full dominance :D

Used to go to Porthcawl on holiday, which is in the same area. Think the nearest station was pyle to where we were stopping. Lovely area of the world

They can't use 379s as they're meant to be going to Great Northern
