i have been able to "borrow" my dad's LL-45 and its simply amazing. The difference from my $550 alverez is just nuts. I changed the strings on the yamy, hit one chord put it down, then called my dad just to ask him if he knew how amazing it sounded. I have never felt and heard such a dramatic difference from just a string change from the noise to the body vibrating against me to the difference in feel of action. Unreal. It was his only guitar for a very long time and i see why. Thank you for the review Javis. I had a chance to play to 26 36 and 56 in London some time ago. All great guitars, Yamaha craftsmanship, big sound. The 56 is a bit more bassy and has a fatter tone than the other 2. Nevertheless somehow they just don't match my taste. It is an interesting experience to play some guitars that you really think they are fantastic but you just don't really connect to them. I had a LL16, never played LL36. In terms of sound quality, how much different between them?
Always good reviews man👌
Thanks david
Brother how can I get one!? I'm frome Dimapur Nagaland and what's the price.?
I think you made the 1998 Taylor 510 sound better am I crazy. You also looked liked you enjoyed the 510 better.
You have a Taylor don’t you?
@@marcusmood4310 of course the 510 is a great buy plus mine has a Engelmann spruce
top. 1995
Hi jarvis nice review! The guitar sounds so good. Btw any idea why LS36 is so much more expensive compared to LL36?
That I can’t answer ..
That’s odd! The LL is just like and FG, the LS being like the FS in the model guitar size Yamaha lineup. That’s an interesting question...
They're the same price in Australia🤷♂️
@@paulwilberforce9659 In Singapore the LL36 is listed as 4k while the LS36 is 6.7k lol
@@warriorz88 wow interesting 🤔 probably a typo 😂
Wow you sound like James Taylor when you finger pick
well i love James Taylor and i’ve been deeply influenced by his music and his playing plus his Olson guitars
Yamaha fg3 red label or yamaha Ll 16? Что лучше?
Depends on what tone you like
For the high price they should use mother of Pearl. Like Martin does.
In term of jewelry price, Abalone (Paua) have always had a higher value than Mother of Pearls.
What a sound
It’s an amazing guitar and would love to own one too
Wow
hey guys, selling my used ll36
in europe - in case smb interested - pm
Ls36 compare martin collings om
LL16d sounds actually like the 36 I own both same woods fretboard bridge difference is the price trust me
yeah agreed
Thanks now I'll never upgrade to 36 from LL16D ARE
I own LL16D, LL36 and LL56. For me they all sounds different. The LL16D has a brighter sound, the high is not as clear as those two. The LL36 has warmer tone, and the high is soft and clear. The LL56 is brighter than the LL36, it rings just like bell, crystal clear compare to the LL36. They all loud, have a very good sustain and overtones. For best money to sound ratio I would choose the LL16D. But for sound wise I will choose the LL56. Yamaha also made the LL86 series which come with solid jacaranda back and side, I try it before, it sounds just a little differend in tone compared to the LL56, but I think it doesn't worth the price.
And the fact that the 36 is totally hand built! I love my 16, but Id love to own a 36 as well for the much fuller, richer tone, and hand crafted feel.
Your choppy mute strumming does'nt render the truly sound of this guitar!
@@denisprieur7944 thanks for your feedback i will improve with my other videos
Yamaha has persisted for more than 50 years in sticking its guitars with the ugliest pickguards in the history of the guitar. Why ? I have the LL36 model (from 2004). Why not put a nice pattern on the headstock of this guitar! Yamaha practices bad taste with an innate sense of ugliness...
That’s the Japanese it’s their mindset
I like the Yamaha aesthetic!
