So happy to hear that you enjoyed Southern Bastards. I randomly picked that book up when it launched and was immediately hooked; it’s a fantastic read. I don’t understand why nobody ever brings it up.
Dan, excellent video. Really enjoyed it. I have the Hawkeye run and I love it. Also I have the Zantanna run. Great art and the story is very good. I appreciate the reviews on all the books. Thank You. Jess
If you haven’t read “Sex Criminals" yet, read it. It’s awesome - especially issue #3 with the redacted Queen references. I would highly suggest after reading each issue to go online and read the letter pages. It adds so much to the series.
My library has an ever growing section of trades/collections and manga and I picked up Grant Morrisons Animal Man on your recommendation and I've been enjoying it so thanks. I wasnt very versed in anything animal man. Other than that I grabbed Batman Damned, A George RR Martin graphic novel i can't remember the name of but it's decent, Alice Ever After, Uzumaki, and a few others. As for purchases I've been buying the old pre code horror collections I've come across. Can't go wrong with those.
Man I feel you. I absolutely love reading comics Aunt my goal for the year. Aside from a few keys here and there and finding all the issues of Marvel team up volume 1, I will be collecting omnibus of the Staples of the Marvel universe from the 1960s and '70s.
The Scott Pilgrim set is fun. But it’s different from the movie, a lot different. I also watched the movie first and then read the books. Still a lot of fun.
Enjoy these kind of vidoe's... Not a lot I've read of these though, besides the Alan Moore stuff you pull up (huge fan). Alan Moore has himself asked not to be credited on the books. The Crow, I must admit I was somehow disappointed in - 20'ish years ago I was into it... The way you describe Fear Agent, that sounds like something I should pick-up and read...
I support you on the idea of spending such amount on collected editions and not on key comics, it feels awesome!

I love this video . I think it gives this channel more “cred” bc there is actual reading of books going on somewhere!
Fear Agent is awesome and so is that Hawkeye book! I hope you enjoy all of these good books.
Don’t break your eyes dude! Nice comics!

I mostly just collect these as well. Much more enjoyable imo
Tom King says the SuperGIrl story was pulled from True Grit. So not original.
Ive been enjoying graphic novels and TPBs... Not trying to handle those valuable OG comics that are worth $$$🤣😂🤣
Southen Bastards was phenomenal
I heard that Alan Moore asked to take his name off of The miracle Man series for some reason?
IST is the best.
ur right i hated it! back to starting drama >.>
Those things must have cost you a fortune
900??
