ZipZapPower as a kid I’d sit on a bench along the channel heading out to Lake Michigan. I loved watching those big Tiaras. If I could afford one I’d have the 53’ Tiara Coupe. ❤️
They have a lot of rot problems with Sea Rays that cause accelerated decrepitude. They mix a wood framed boat with Fiberglass. So did everybody. They would sandwich wood beams between sprayed fiberglass, water would get in, the glass would seal it in so it couldn't evaporate and that would be it. Rot city everywhere. The bigger the boat, the worse it was. Lots of lawsuits and I followed one of them that Sea Ray lost and they didn't help their case. A guy was just walking down the stairs to get in the boat and the stairs collapsed, and the floor under them. The whole back corner of the boat was rotted out under that pretty fiberglass. Rot is like Cancer, it spreads everywhere once it starts. That's my only guess why they stopped making big boats at all. Overreaction? I was surprised to hear it. Ray's are very popular on the Great Lakes. I personally know 4 people that own them and they're all big boats around 40 + footers. And yes, it's a shame. No one lasts forever. See Chris Craft. Who'd of ever believed they'd go under and my family personally owned 4 of those. And they didn't have problems with them, they were victims of our roller coaster economy and unstable Government. You can fight that for only so long. Especially if you're in the leisure business. Look at all the Motorhome companies that went under. Almost all of them.
Something about watching boats gliding through the water is very relaxing. I like how you tell us the type of boat, make. Also is it a requirement to have a flag hanging out the back of your yacht? Lol
Absolutely amazing boats! You've got such an awesome boating culture in America. Although we Aussies love our boats, the vast majority are smaller and usually much less powerful. Sydney has a very good boat culture, but where I live (Melbourne), boating is not as big because of our (usually) much colder climate and Port Phillip Bay is not really conducive to cruising or over nighting, because there are very few places to safely anchor overnight. Thank you for sharing your great videos; I really love them.
Thanks for the small info inserts. I didn't know Regal boats was started by a husband and wife. You see tons of Regals on the Great Lakes. The only thing about that beautiful Riva? I don't know if I'd want waterjets. Do you really want the same tech powering your jet ski to power your yacht? I think not.
3:30 Lots of Azimuts anywhere in the world. Azimut is the most succesful production yacht builder in the world, has built more producyion yachts than anyone. In almost every luxury marina you can be world wide, you'll most certainty be in company of an Azimut.
So sea ray really discontinued making their larger boats? Where did u see that or hear about that? And those Sunseeker’s are sooooooooo badass!! And ur channel is so much better then the other two (wavy boats and living off the land) that started channels after u did!!! Ur video quality is sooooooo much better and ur mics are soooooo much better!!! Keep up the amazing work big man!!!!
June 2018 Sea Ray announced layoffs and plant closing shift in Fla. The bigger boats got cut out at the same time. Too much completion in that space I guess. Reminds me of when Volkswagen announced that Phaeton high end model. Nice car but nobody was going to pay $100 k for a Volkswagen.
Ragnar Lothbrok damn that’s crazy that they laid people off whenever the boating industry is going so strong!! But I know on our lake their niche here are boats 27-38ft. There are a couple that are in the 40-60ft range but they are the older Sundancer body style! Cause we have a couple 60-65ft azimuts on our lake and a 70 and 72ft princess yachts! But the average boat size on our lake is prob around 30-36ft.
@@ZipZapPower It is not. They changed the hull windows design from 50 to 53. That is the 53 hull windows (first version). Also the 50 had no sunpad in aft deck and bathing platform was shorter. We have two 50's locally. But yes the marking on the hard-top looks a 50, but it is not. Might have been one of the first 53's and Fairline had no new decals yet. They where just bought out when they launched the 53(50)
The Tiara was the best looking boat in this vid! Tired of all the Azimut, Ferretti etc's all going for that bathtub look! Even sleeker Sunseekers I find just boring to look at with all these different angles & shapes of windows!
The girls on the first boat are on a fucking yacht and they are taking selfies.... Just enjoy yourself instead of trying to make everyone feel like shit for not being you.
Perseo 76, what a catch. Full of elegant people onboard.
Best Haulover channel on RUclips!
I appreciate your videos, and especially like the information you post about each boat, no matter how small or large. Thanks!!
The sea ray 58 sedan bridge👌👌👌 beautiful, along with the 500 sd
Much better than all the cv's and midnights... love these yachts and the video. Good to see a new on on your channel...
i prefer the yachts too.
Thank You for the bites of information you provide on each craft ..
"Azimut the Honda of south Florida!"
Big boats r better on this Chanel then small boats
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I Love the Delta Power Boats 54 Carbon. All Carbon Fiber Boat???
“Now you cooking with grease😆”
That boat will last forever👍
What’s the cost estimate??
That sunseeker predator is a sick boat! $3-5,000,000...wow!
Amazing to see these boats going out on high speed very nice
You can't go wrong with a Riva yacht 😍
I Love Zip Zap great video's.love watching the boats will never have one but watching ZipZap I can dream of them in frist class Thanks.
Nice video for anyone searching for a boat. FYI the Tiara is a 4500 Sovran.
Finally a Tiara! 👍. I grew up in Holland Michigan. Keep up the good work!

I had no idea Sea Ray stopped making their larger boats!
yep, such a shame.

Your best video yet !! Great work. I'm a big fan.
The boat show is coming very soon! This inlet will be filled with crack for days on end. Oooh yeah
Love the azimut/60 bc of the jetski on the back instead of a dingy pritty cool and I always wondered why it was never done
I can't wait for summer her in South Carolina

Gil dezer.......in addition to having a great boat, he also has an amazing car collection.

Way more exciting than Rough and Rowdy11 was
Exquisite.
The maintenance on that black sunseeker 84.....
Yeah, but the money he saved flagging it in Marshall Islands.
@@henrymp6295 good eye!!! Haha
ooh traffic! let me leave my outriggers down.

Did you notice the SACS didn't have a brace of outboards hung on it?
nice boats. damn i want one :D
That is a Fairline Targa 53 GT. Same hull as 50 but extended.
100% a 50. I can zoom in and read the markings on my raw footage

I Azimut daily!
Per chiarezza la sede (HQ) è ad Avigliana, Torino, Piemonte.
Could you put more est prices on smaller boats please ?
what camera do you use to take these? love your vids and new sub!
Only the SACS/REBEL 47 had a "proper" guest on board.
ever get bored filming from the same location in the same sunny weather?
# Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha aha
always sunny, and with a boat of these sizes, you can just drive to where it is sunny..!
😅😅😅
Any reason why they keep their out riggers spread?
so they won't hit the bridge.
I heard Azimut yachts are rife with problems and are of questionable quality. Are they really bad?
SUNSEEKER 84 SHOW
Best of show.
Is an Azimut a less expensive yacht than Pershing ???
All depends on year, condition, length, etc. Yacht prices are bizzare
Sea Ray discontinued building yachts over 40 feet? Huh! Really?
The Tiara was the best looking boat in this vid! Tired of all the Azimut, Ferretti etc's all going for that bathtub look! Even sleeker Sunseekers I find just boring to look at with all these different angles & shapes of windows!
What? A SACS Maxi Pad
If it doesn't have 2 anchors it's boring.
