I’m the same Demi, in my case it’s “messy house/car, messy mind”. It starts to feel claustrophobic after a while and makes it feel like I have a weight on my shoulders and that’s the only way I can describe it 😅 soon as I’ve sorted, tidy, cleaned, it makes a hell of a difference. I enjoyed this video. Thank you 😊
Really enjoyed the walk through your wardrobe Demi. Sending lots of love that you get answers to your health issues. I know how hard mental health can be on the body in the form of stress we don't even realise is stress. Have a lovely weekend with Sean and the pups xx
love the wardrobe tour! I‘m gonna reorganise mine this weekend as I really need my warmer autumn/winter clothes and they are currently stored away. thanks for the inspo xx
I’ve had endometriosis, thyroid disease, PMDD (which is kind of like bipolar but triggered with ovulation) cancer and I have a mild form of MS and I have ADHD type tendencies. So much of it is genetics but I’ve been researching diet, supplements, lifestyle options especially regarding hormones for years. Honestly, whilst I applaud the veganism ethically, it can lead to a fair few deficiencies. I tried a plant based diet for a while and I felt much worse physically and mentally. I’m not suggesting don’t be vegan, but maybe once you have your results consider also seeing a nutritionist who specialises in veganism who can look at things like B vitamin absorption, folate, iron, thyroid, etc and give you some personalised recommendations to supplement anything which might be missing in your diet. I’ve found it so beneficial. Despite all my serious health issues I discovered the thing which was making me feel fatigued, low mood, generally crap was quite a severe folate deficiency. We do get folates from diet, but there are certain genetic factors like MTHFR that make some people really bad at utilising some vitamins. The NHS are amazing of course, but doctors don’t always know a huge amount about diet/supplements/potential genetics and how it affects you. I really hope you get some answers and solutions soon.
Have you looked into B12 as without folate B12 cannot work,I have had multiple deficiencies not caused by the diet lacking in key nutrients but by my body purely not being able to absorb them.
@@staceymichelle5576 Thankyou! Yes I had the full range of Bs done privately tested, b12 was fine but folate extremely low, so I think it’s that which I need to supplement. Brain lesions can be caused by low b12 though so I’m never completely sure. I agree, it’s not always, or even usually diet… I eat loads of greens but am still deficient… it’s either because our veg isn’t as good as it used to be years ago due to soul nutrients, or it’s genetic factors, or a bit of both. I’ve been take methylated folate a week and already feel much better! X
@@rachelkowald8225 please bare in mind that as folate levels increase it will mobilsie your b12 and can make it lower if you struggle to absorb b12, so it's worth retesting b12 once folate levels rise. I have autoimmune pernicous anaemia so need life long b12 replacement injections from doctors and as a result also have to top up folate to make sure I get the most out of my jabs, amoung many other supplements.
Glad you are having B12 (nutritional yeast). I also take B12 (slow release). I am vegan, my bloods are good. I have just started taking primrose oil caps. You do know about vitamins and nutrition Demi which is great. It is a shame when a vegan is poorly and people immediately think it’s your diet (not your mum though us mums worry no matter what). I love how organised your dressing room is. You are like me ‘a place for everything & everything in its’ place’ as the saying goes. The body shop cleansing balm is fantastic for taking makeup off. Glad to see you back and I hope you feel yourself fully soon x.
I totally agree! Even if I get a sniffle or cold (which is very rare) people automatically think it’s because I’m vegan..it’s as if meat eaters never get ill 🙄 lol
Sometimes when you’re plant based, you experience issues with not feeling well because you’re not eating enough. It might be that you’re not consuming enough calories or protein. Vegans need to eat way more than meat eaters… eating more vegetables won’t make you put any weight on. I watched a documentary about it and the nutritionist said you need to eat a lot more than you think when you’re vegan xx

Hi Demi, a good way to remember to take your medication in the morning is put them in a Monday - Friday pill organiser and keep it by your bed xx

Anyone that has their eyes and ears open knows that something is wrong.
