thankyou for this video .I needed it very much i am 26 yrs old i started coding 1.5 yrs ago and everyday i just regret that my friends are in big tech companies they know more than me how can i match them or how can i surpass them. After watching first 5 minutes this video i realised what is wrong why i am unhappy .I also realised that yeah i have everything also.I am having permanent WFH in a good company pay is decent .I live with my parents and on weekends i hangout with my childhood friends and still i was not happy. Now i know whats the issue.😇
Wow, you’re such an inspiration. I have tried this graph before trying to weigh/quantify happiness and achievement and it was impossible. They can only be compared to the previous or subsequent but not assigned to specific values. Given that, I still see the key takeaways from your graph and your messages. I am 21 and preparing to get a PhD in the US as an international student. And I am too often stressed about my position.
when I am worried about my life, after seeing ur Video's which inspires me, yes now is the right time to come back thanks for videos keep doing it 🎉🎉🎉🎉

idk i commented already but you channeled my inner meditation self (which already tried to become more pragmatic) to really create things outside and not only calm my mind! somehow i think you found the path between the dance of reality and spirital awakening and it made me stronger since i watch your videos! i gain confidence i will be free, financially and emotionaly! thats my goal, although im already far, u became my teacher! thank s for sharing so much it makes an impact really! 31 and learning to code (since 1.5 year) and feeling slowly ready for application to get in the industrie. without beeing to sensitive - thank you from the bottom of my heart! ur inspiring ! i will be a dev in 1 year with a high salary ! i believe in this!
Hey Sahil I'm from Pakistan and I watched your video from last year and followed up on some roadmap Alhamdulillah now I'm a programmer working as an intern At industry, But Please reply 😢
I think the biggest factor for his success is not only that he earned well and upskilled himself, but his spending did not increase much. It is quite rare to find people who understand their finances well and know the art of saving from the early stages of their career. It also proves that though money plays an important role in one's happiness it is the sense of security and peace that gives true happiness, and I think that is the biggest take away from this video. Thank you, Sahil for everything you have done and will do in the future. I wish everyone all the success and happiness in the world.
Great video..! Whenever i frustrated i will see this video again and again and also had download in offline 😊 it is the battery charger, boost, horlicks for my career.
Wonderful videos with real genuine thoughts , the truth in them has had an impact on me. Thanks Sahil for this ernest effort in helping others. 👏 enjoying and learning through your work. Pls keep going... my wishes are with you.namaste
i came to usa in 2014 and started working in 2016, alwasys procastinated you are inspiring and helpful thanks for everthing brother. your content helps me motivate and learn
It depends on the company. If we are in service based, hardly 130-150 K /annum after switching the company. Other product companies are a little higher with bonus MAANG companies are paying highest with bonus and shares
Great video sahil, I really appreciate the effort you are doing to make us motivated and skilled. I literally learned something that I wasn't able to figure out until now. Thank You Again ❤❤
Gaba ji, Amazing! Happiness is internal, not external. Buddha said desires are the cause of suffering. Sense of purpose in helping others. Reality is neutral.
except most people are simply arrogant and do not realize that there are better candidates and the jobs are getting fewer and fewer which will get even worse
@@FrontDevDude i get your point, check out the data it's the fullstack development that is being saturated, not machine learning not cybersecurity and not skills like cloud infrastructure management especially DevOps roles. Most people gonna quit anyway in the middle so when the market recoveres you will be the first one to get noticed with the needed skills in the market where competition is less.
See this thing is in every market not only IT , govt. Jobs are also getting saturated day by day, similarly if u go IITs or IIMs they are also mugging around all this, hope u get my point , it is just IT is highlighted toomuch.😅
Hey Sahil! I'm a software engineer from Sri Lanka, and I've been thinking a lot about how to keep up in this industry with all the AI tech coming up. I'm still aiming to be a senior software engineer, but I could really use some advice. What do you think I should do to stay relevant? I'm so freaked out about this, it would really help me if you could explain that.
You have been my beacon via which I got encouraged for the past 3 years, me being a pakistani national just see nothing infront of me, I used to think moving to the US as a developer would be easy but after asking from my friends and looking at youtube I am just ....., I don't even have the words, till now I have even built a fully working netflix like app with a devops based infrastructure along with network routing making sure people can use my website, this whole backend was hosted on my home server which was a great acheivement for me but... I just can't see how I can get to the US as the jobs here in Pakistan give you around 300-400 usd per month :/
Thanks for sharing your journey. It will help us map ours. Can you some day share more on what you do for physical health and emotional wellbeing. I have heard that tech guys are loners 😅😅. Is that true or you do have friends you hangout with. Just curios to know more about your journey and balance between different aspects of life.

You earned new subscriber. Keep doing. Inspired a lot.
Thank you for the transparency and let us know what's possible
Sahil Sir, Indirectly you are soft skills trainer to many of us.
Great video!
Correlation does not mean causation as you demonstrated
It’s hard to quantify happiness in regards to money
I think the biggest factor for his success is not only that he earned well and upskilled himself, but his spending did not increase much. I made the huge mistake of buying a Code Ninjas franchise. Worst mistake ever. Had i not done that, i would be close.

Why? Is it less?
How much you making if your root is from India?
It depends on the company. If we are in service based, hardly 130-150 K /annum after switching the company.
Other product companies are a little higher with bonus
MAANG companies are paying highest with bonus and shares

Based on Experience , Define "Happiness"
Gaba ji, Amazing!
Happiness is internal, not external.
Buddha said desires are the cause of suffering.

Reality is neutral.
🥰 congrats happy for u 👏
How did you become a millionaire though?
I can see your salary only got raised to $350,000
Thank you for your honesty
Well done and thanks for sharing
That's an insightful one 👍
Oversaturation, There's no such thing if you're really good you're going to get hired.
except most people are simply arrogant and do not realize that there are better candidates and the jobs are getting fewer and fewer which will get even worse
If everyone in the market is doing the same things, of course getting hired will be difficult. Stand out and rise above the competition.
@@FrontDevDude i get your point, check out the data it's the fullstack development that is being saturated, not machine learning not cybersecurity and not skills like cloud infrastructure management especially DevOps roles. I like how you put spending, since I wonder cost of living in USA.
I have learned a lot from this channel.
It will be impossible to get a software engineering job in next 3 years due to OVERSATURATED Market
True
See this thing is in every market not only IT , govt. Jobs are also getting saturated day by day, similarly if u go IITs or IIMs they are also mugging around all this, hope u get my point , it is just IT is highlighted toomuch.😅
It's not limited to software, it's in every field broo😅
Don't be pessimistic Bro. Every generation has their own opportunities.
No Brother relax its possible dont be stressed out for this
Wonderful so well said!
In layman "Happiness comes from man kind and help not from money"
Your truly inspiring me💯❤️
