    Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of "Agenda 21", the new studio album from the recently reformed progressive metal band Zero Hour, on May 13, 2022. Original members Jasun Tipton (guitars) and Erik Rosvold (vocals) have recruited bassist Andreas Blomqvist (Seventh Wonder) and drummer Roel van Helden to join them on this new chapter for Zero Hour. Pre-order/save "Agenda 21" HERE: orcd.co/agenda21
    Originally formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in '90s by Jasun and his brother Troy, Zero Hour released six studio albums from 1998 to 2008. Their self-titled debut (1998), "The Towers of Avarice" (2001), "Metamorphosis" (2003), "A Fragile Mind" (2005), "Specs of Pictures Burnt Beyond" (2006), and "Dark Deceiver" (2008). The genesis of Zero Hour was to create heavy, melodic, dark, intricate music with influences from diverse influences like the DIO-led years of Rainbow, The Pat Metheny Group, and Dream Theater.
    Zero Hour dissolved after the release of their 2008 album "Dark Deceiver" when Troy Tipton suffered an arm injury that prevented him from playing bass. After Jasun and Erik got back together to start the band back up, they recruited drummer Roel van Helden. Jasun and Roel had become friends after Roel’s group at the time, Sun Caged and Zero Hour played a gig as direct support for Liquid Tension Experiment. They stayed in contact and years later, Jasun caught up with Roel overseas and they chatted about making music together. Roel was then instrumental in bringing Andreas into the fold as one of Roel’s former bands had toured with Andreas' band Seventh Wonder.
    Jasun structured the music for "Agenda 21", tracking the guitars and keys. Roel then arranged the drums and entered Kohlekeller Studios to record the drums with Kai Stahlenberg. Andreas followed by arranging and recording his bass at Cross Back Studios. Erik Rosvold wrote the lyrics for the songs on "Agenda 21" with the vocal melodies arranged by Erik and Jasun together as the vocals were recorded.
    Progressive metal fans will find much to celebrate on Zero Hour's fantastic return album, "Agenda 21"!
    “Agenda 21” Tracklisting:
    1. Democide
    2. Technocracy
    3. Stigmata

    • @bumblebootwiddletoes5185
      @bumblebootwiddletoes5185 Год назад +1

      Statists? Authoritarians? "The state" has a role in every type of government. Are you a "stateless righty?" A night's watchman type of anarchist who trusts absolutely no one (because deep down you can't be trusted)? Off-the-grid prepper? A follower of Alex Jones? Social Darwinism is the worst. A stateless system is, at best, a decentralized, orderless society stuck in the 1800s with zero chance of progressing in any way. The purpose of humanity isn't to simply live and die - it's to work towards higher levels of civilization by gaining and using knowledge and technology so that one day humans can populate other worlds, become immortal beings, and even cross into new universes. This requires order, intention, intellect, and a relentless pursuit that cannot be achieved with anarchy.

    • @FLmetalhead
      @FLmetalhead Год назад

      @@bumblebootwiddletoes5185 🥱 It is so tiresome to see people reacting to the idea of anarchism by confidently proclaiming that anarchy would certainly result in terrible conditions X, Y and Z, when X, Y and Z are exactly what lie at the heart of the current statist system of rule, so deeply embedded there that people no longer recognize the state’s institutionalized, criminality, oppression and plunder.
      Equally tiresome is the claim that anarchy presupposes that people are angels, when it is precisely because anarchists fully recognize people’s capacity for evil that they oppose a system that gives monopoly power over life and death to a cabal of evil politicians and their self-serving financial backers. This “progress” you speak of like going to the stars or higher levels of civilization wouldn’t be because of government, it would be in spite of government. The #1 unnatural killer of man in history is government and here you are putting evil on a pedestal. Government holds people and progress back, it doesn’t propel true progress unless violence, war, theft and coercion is your version of “progress”.

I have been a MASSIVE fan since discovering them in '06, & saw them at a tiny venue in NJ, w/ my now ex gf, & met all 4 guys, Jasun, Troy, Chris, & Mike. & they treated us like every band on Earth should treat their fans! I was friends w/ Jasun & Chris on MS, & then on FascistBook, till, FB banned me for my Conservative views 2+ yrs ago!😡🤬 Anyway, I love what I've heard from this so far, & can't wait to get this album! Could it possibly - perhaps - be that right-wingers just so happen to believe and say things that a) aren't proven and/or b) are hateful/defamatory a lot more than centrists and those on the left do? Social media companies don't ban people for "conservative" viewpoints like lower taxes, small government, strong military/borders, etc. They ban them for comments & posts that are unproven/false and/or hateful/defamatory. A true conservative knows how to have a rational, civilized conversation about theories and policies without proclaiming unproven things to be true and without being a bigot. Fascists, ethnonationalists, theocrats, etc, aren't "conservatives."
