Today I'm sharing my DESK TOUR to hopefully give you some ideas on how to ORGANIZE your desk...Being a university student makes my desk the place I spend most of my day, so I like to make sure it's a space that is both functional, and inspiring :) I'm also giving you a look into how I keep all my bullet journal pens/supplies organized...hope you enjoy it!

My desk looks like a farm. Full of paper, books and stationery everywhere. I really want to organize my table but I'm poor and whenever i do it gets messy again in the next few days.

My favorite part of my desk is my candle collection (19 and counting!). While studying, if I ever get too stressed out, I'll just pick one that settles me at the time and watch it melt for a few minutes until I feel better.
I really love the little pineapple holding your paper clips. Probably my favorite thing on my desk would be funko pop David Tennant keychain.

I love how you organized your draws and I like how you added the shelfs on top of your screen that's a great idea, you had a great idea to use a place mate for your keyboard and mouse I have to try that 👍
I love your channel so much!! That's an awesome setup. My favourite item on my desk is my vase of fresh flowers because it gives my workspace such a nice atmosphere. Also that washi tape dispenser is amazing. I'm gonna make one myself now.

My favorite thing that is currently on my desk is my (also fake) plant from ikea, because like you I can't keep any plant alive, not even a succulent xD and to be honest... my fake plant also looks a bit off the last few days😂

My desk is next to my bed so one of my fav items is my Philips sunrise alarm clock. The brightness really does energize me, I love the wind down feature & the radio function lol

I have the same desk and the tall Alex units. I love them but they feel sterile because of all the white. I love how you added wooden items and plants to bring some warmth and nature. I'm going to try that too!

And yeah, I find adding the wooden pieces and different colours really makes it feel more comfy....hope you get the same feel in your space :)

I found a 4-compartment acrylic pen holder (at HomeGoods) that fits perfectly on my IKEA picture rail above my desk and I love keeping all of my bullet journal colorful pens in it!

Wow, your desk looks amazing, I'm in love with the rose gold and marble theme 😍 On a side note, the funniest thing just happened while I was watching this: when you were talking about your printer and said "XP" I suddenly heard a little alert noise on my Samsung Galaxy S8 which is sat right next to me and it turns out you actually activated my phone's virtual assistant, Bixby, as it thought you said the word "Bixby"! So then i rewinded the video a few seconds and sure enough it happened again!! 😂😂

Love your videos Caitlin! A word on succulents, your little guy will need to be planted in a well draining pot/container (i.e. with a hole at the bottom) if it isn't already, and it will need to be placed by a well-lit window, so maybe by the big frame on your shelf or on a window sill (direct sunlight is not necessary but ambient light is) so it can thrive. I used to be terrified of plants until I started taking care of succulents...I LOVE THEM! Good luck with yours!!

This is gorgeous 💜🙌 my favorite part about my desk is my salt lamp, I like it because at night my lamp can be a bit too harsh and it adds a nice vibe to the room 🤗

At what height did you hang your shelves? I have the exact same ones and I'm thinking about hanging over my desk like you did but I'm not sure at what height... Yours look good and appropriate for their placement over the desk.

As I watched this, I kept looking over at my desk and realizing how much of a mess it is compared to yours haha 😂 LOVE the addition of the shelves though! My fav item on my desk is my pencil/pen holder bc it looks like a garbage bin lol but its aqua blue so its cute :) people always think its random and funny

Currently, what I like about my desk is my pencil holder and my collection of mugs. I cleaned it up a bit last week, to try and get one of my stacks under control. It's BETTER, but still messy. (I'm one of those 'controlled chaos' people who knows where everything is in the mess.) Kinda looking forward to not staring at it every day once I move on campus next week. ;P I really like your idea of the paper organizer for printer paper and notebook paper. Might have to do something similar, myself.
You have a mug collection?! I want to be in your shoes, Susan! I love mugs (although I'm trying not to go crazy or my kitchen will be filled with them haha)....Yes, those drawers are great for printer/lined paper-- keeps everything organized and safe from damage :)
so far only three, but my dad and eldest sister like to collect mugs and I'd buy more if I had space for them. I have a Grumpy mug from Disneyland, a Captain America one, and a Supernatural one that was a gift from a friend.

Cool. This is helpful you included a personal quote on a frame my fave thing on my is my bible and candle That smells like latte .its called coffee and sarcasm. Smells yummy.oh my radio to I listen to christian music to relax and encouragement.😊 smile and keep cool.

Hey Caitlin, your succulent needs a pot with drainage holes. I usually put mine in plastic drainage pots and then I put those in slightly larger decorative planters and then just empty the water after it drains. And make sure you give them a little sun each day. :)

I believe it's one of their HP DeskJet printers....got it a couple years ago! It works well for basic printing needs :)

Haha, I know, they're not cheap 😅 Not sure if you're a student, but if ever get one, go to the apple store to get a student discount..I try to also buy their products when they're are on sale/promotion...it helps a little :)

Yes, it's a floor protector so I don't scratch the flooring!

Also wanted to ask if you've seen the papermate inkjoy gel pens? I was always a fan of the ballpoint inkjoys and wanted your opinion on the gel's apparently they dry super fast...
Haha, I wish I could say I was sorry for encouraging your stationary addiction, but I'm not :P I've heard of them and seen them in store but haven't tried them out myself yet...From papermate, I think i've only really tried their flair tip pens and eraseable gel pens (which I do really like) !
