Lol I’d say I’m more of a tool collector than a carpenter. When I do jobs myself such as the bathroom remodel I spend some of the $$ I save by not hiring someone on tools to make the job easier. I figure it’s a win win.
Thats quite the power pack an sure surprised me on how much it could run . I could see a bunch of uses for a rig like that . The stand looks like it should do the job an will be a great learning experience for ya daughter .
Thanks Phil! Hopefully the throbbing has settled down a bit. Also I just realized (thanks to a viewer) that I somehow missed adding your 1/3rd of a cord challenge video to our playlist but it’s been added now!
Like all the different projects, this is Wild Bill down here in the southwest corner of the Show Me state, was researching log splitters and ran into you all, alittle late, but like what you do, we have alot of the same wood yous do alot of various oak, locust, hickory, wild cherry. We also have a massey 135 it's a 1969 model diesel.
Thanks Todd, she was going to help out but got called for a job interview so I figured I’d get it built for her. She bought paint today and will get it painted the next day we get a long enough break in the rain.
Hey Heath , I can’t thank you enough for letting me use that EBL 500 . That piece of equipment is great . The stand is looking good . The Mystery Machine is sweet . Got to get some Scooby snacks !!!! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Heath, nice work with recycled materials!! I would have put more of a pitch on the roof being you see in Michigan….I’m certain you’ll get some rolled roofing or left over shingles for the roof.
Thanks Tom, I probably should have sloped the roof a little bit but figured with the smaller size of the stand it wouldn’t get loaded with too heavy of snow. May have to make some adjustments.
Great video. That’s a neat power pack. I have seen before on the other videos, but I just figured out that with out the extension cord you can pick it up and the tool up and move around with out the hassle of trying to get the extension cord to follow you with out getting it all tangled up in stuff. Hehe, takes me a while to figure stuff out. 😂 Great firewood stand. Megan will like that. 👍🏻
The stand looks great so far. And this is so cool that EBL sent you the power-pack to test. And nobody mentioned your cute little weiner, we had a weiner dog only red, they have big nerves for a little dog haha. Kenny
Thanks John, not passing through Maryland as of now. But may be able to work something out some day. It would be fun to swing by and see the mill, splitter, and hang out.
Heath. That EBL power station is pretty nice. I also have a cpap. And it is a pain in the butt when I’m camping and at the hunt camp. Never having a good sleep is the pits. Your daughters road side stand also looks good 👍. She should make lots of extra cash this summer. Unless she is putting it in Ontario lol.
Agreed they stink. But yes worth every minute of sleep lol. Ya Michigan is pretty close by. But no fire restrictions at the moment ?? We have full fire bans in place !!!
I had thought about sloping the roof but kept it flat so that if people grab bundles from the other side they don’t hit their head. May have to make adjustments in the future we will see.
That mitre saw stand is great! Must have been a mighty good auction!
That stand was a great accidental purchase for sure. I love my auctions lol.
Great video Heath
Thanks Kevin!
Good luck Megan selling firewood 🪵
Thanks Kevin, I think she’ll do good with the location she locked down.
Great job Heath building the stand
Thanks Kevin!
Hey brother, you're a great dad! Nice work on the stand, too! Chip
Thanks Chip, I do my best to appreciate it.
I'm impressed, all that without a framing square... 👍👍
Thanks Clyde, it didn’t turn out too bad.
For someone who says they're not a carpenter, you certainly do have all of the tools to do the job.
Lol I’d say I’m more of a tool collector than a carpenter. When I do jobs myself such as the bathroom remodel I spend some of the $$ I save by not hiring someone on tools to make the job easier. I figure it’s a win win.
Heath, nice job on the self service wood stand good luck!
Thank you Robert!
Good job on the stand. 👍🏻
Thanks Jason.

Thank you Wild Bill! The Massey is a great tractor for sure.
Just ordered my solar panels for my EBL MP1000!! Great looking stand! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
David, the solar panels charged this thing up pretty good when we had a sunny day. Definitely come in handy in the right situation!
Heath your a great dad for doing that for your daughter hope she appreciates your work and great video ❤😊🪵👍
Thanks Todd, she was going to help out but got called for a job interview so I figured I’d get it built for her. She bought paint today and will get it painted the next day we get a long enough break in the rain.
Looks good, lucky material find 😂
Thanks, it worked out great.
Like the chop saw table , this ole boy don't work off the ground no more .
Thanks Michael, that table works great! Definitely beats working on the ground!
Hey Heath , I can’t thank you enough for letting me use that EBL 500 . That piece of equipment is great . The stand is looking good . The Mystery Machine is sweet . Got to get some Scooby snacks !!!! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks Del! You’re definitely welcome!
That’s awesome you have a traveling van
Thanks, should come in handy.
Keep up the work🙂🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍👍
Thanks Richard!
Great job on the stand, good to see the family getting involved. Road trip!! 👍
Thank you. Hopefully the van is on the road soon!
Nice road side stand Heath
Thank you, I think Megan will do pretty well with it 🤞🏻
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors I agree
Looking good Heath, we almost have ours done, Take Care 🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Thanks guys, yours I a bit nicer but I think this one will turn out okay when finished.
That cordless nail gun is pretty sweet.
The Hard Working Man Van tour bus. Nice.
Alan, I love that nailer. Hopefully the tour bus is up and running soon lol.
Great work Heath! That EBL works awesome👍💪👍
Thanks Jeremiah, the power pack’s definitely come in handy.

Great firewood stand. Megan will like that. 👍🏻
Thanks, and yes it definitely beats struggling with an extension cord. Should come in handy for building deer blinds in the woods too!
You can cut some of your 2#6 at a 45 for the corners
Thanks Basil, I did add some bracing before Megan began painting it.
The stand looks great so far. And this is so cool that EBL sent you the power-pack to test. And nobody mentioned your cute little weiner, we had a weiner dog only red, they have big nerves for a little dog haha.
Kenny
Thanks Kenny, oh yeah DD definitely thinks she’s a lot bigger than she is. I will say though she is a deer tracking machine in the fall.
Suweeet i too am a side of the road visionary dad.
Lol for sure! Thanks David.
hi there good build .it will work great. Are you passing threw Md on your trip . we may be a good brake . john
Thanks John, not passing through Maryland as of now. But may be able to work something out some day. It would be fun to swing by and see the mill, splitter, and hang out.
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors hi if your are ever in the area you got a place to land . john
Awesome appreciate it!

Pete, the sleeping machines are sort of a pain but they’re worth it. We are across the river from Ontario!
Agreed they stink. But yes worth every minute of sleep lol.
Ya Michigan is pretty close by. But no fire restrictions at the moment ?? We have full fire bans in place !!!
I wonder if HWM considered a slope for the roof.
I had thought about sloping the roof but kept it flat so that if people grab bundles from the other side they don’t hit their head. May have to make adjustments in the future we will see.
Good days work. The vans pretty sweat.
Thanks Bobby, hopefully I’ll get the van on the road shortly!
Nice job, Rachelle is Heath always out of breath like that, poor you. lol
Lol, the mic exaggerates it!
