I can relate to spinel,an ex-friend of mine (who was my best friend) started to act different,after we was always silly and goofy everytime we are together which always brought us happiness,he started to act different and than he literally ghosted me and he cut me off for no reason,i didn't understand anything,but than i found out bc i was "childish and very immature",it literally broke my heart that after all those years,i was holding him back,it was hard for me to let go of this and still is, i can feel all the pain that spinel went through.

Off topic, spinel is a very precious and expensive gem. I don't why in Resident Evil 4(2005) the spinel is so inexpensive whens selling. They made it valuable in the remake however.
As a jewelry store sales woman, I can say from my experience. Because no one heard of Spinel I have Spinel necklaces in store aming other things. When people ask me what gem it is and I say Spinel, people give me confused looks and ask me what is a spinel Not saying EVERYONE does, but usually the only stone that gets questioned what is it. Its usually only spinel Maybe thats why its inexpensive, not as well known or popular among common folk Random fun fact. I play two Steven Universe songs in my store hoping someone recognizes it. Sadly no one yet did

My only complaint is that it might have been better if it was Pink Pearl(Volleyball) who presented Spinel to Pink Diamond instead of CG Pearl, I just find it to be funny if it turns out that Spinel is actually older than CG Pearl, because despite being shorter & less mature, she could still have(basically) "Big Sister" bragging rights, and would drive CG Pearl crazy by treating her like the "Baby Sister", at least that's how I feel it should have turned out.
This was actually how her physical form poofed. A gem doesn’t need to be stabbed or sliced to lose its form but it can be psychological hurt that will poof a gem as well! Pink Pearl’s case was another different kind of psychological hurt because even though her pearl isn’t damaged her eye is cracked because of the trauma. Both Spinel and Pink Pearl were hurt by Pink Diamond but were slowly recovering thanks to Steven and Pearl however they still have ways to go and so does Steven!
