  • Before Game 2 of the 2009 UAAP Finals betwee Ateneo and UE, the Blue Babble Band gets the Ateneo crowd lathered up. Kahit talo sa Game 2, lupit pa rin ng Babble.

2003 UAAP Season, first round AdMU vs DLSU. The Blue Babble Band had 16 bass drums and 10 snare drums. The DLSU Pep Squad brought the CSB, DLSZ and LSGH Pep Squads to help them. They had a total of 42 BASS DRUMS AND AT LEAST 20 SNARE DRUMS. The Blue Babble Band ABSOLUTELY ANNIHILATED THEM. The Blue Babble Band has been THE BEST for almost 10 years and I don't see any other squad who can take them down anytime soon

@@ANGELOGAB17 and that's why la salle brought more drums because IT IS a competition. you've got to be stupid to think that crowd volume doesn't affect the game lol

@@ANGELOGAB17 that's why passion fuels each squad of their respective school. It's a battle of pride. They have to keep control of the momentum by means of not being overpowered by the opposing squad. Crowd control plays a big part to keep the school spirit hype. In short, bawal ma-baon.

@@nicknavata8721 lol if u say so. Anyhow it sucks we wont get to see uaap basketball this year due to the pandemic. I miss the drums, the cheers, and the whole competitive spirit.

Dw guys, we back at it again. Problem is they got rules now💀 no more 10+ basses for UAAP. Imagine noise complaint.

Those we're the days snare and bass drums aren't limited,.that we can even here the sounds while buying a tickets in either red or green gate at the big dome..i really missed those years compare when watching live games prior to pandemic where UaaP officials even asked the pep squad to stop cheering during timeouts which somehow diminished the intensity of each game..

Blue babble drummers are the best in the UAAP, while san beda's band is the best in the NCAA, if nag face-off, sino kaya mananalo?

From your comment, clearly you are a UAAP fan. :)) Pero, i must admit, malakas nga ang Benilde. BUT i honestly have never heard CSB play louder than the SBC. Pero still, both bands deserve respect. :)

Can you even imagine handling all those drums, let alone getting them to play in sync with each other? Also, each La Salle school had their own way of playing the beats. You can't expect that to sound good. It was noisy, I can tell you that. Even 10 drums that were in-sync can cut through a noise of 50 drums. It was more of a novelty than a show of might for DLSU at that time. I mean come on. 4 squads in one performance? that's a feat no one else had done. It was messy, I'll give you that

that's why UAAP nowadays and squads have 6-4 bass drums allowed for better sound movement before the pandemic.

championship ng filoil cup pag andun ka sa isang side mas malakas ung SBC pero kasi sa other side harang ung parang room sa upper level ng san juan arena so hindi rinig dun drums ng SBC. we have yet to see them face off at araneta, dun talaga malalaman.

@drummaz14 from what i heard the blue babble helped in improving SBC's band.. Tyaka they faced off nung fil oil and Beda was louder, and they were only using one bass drum while Ateneo had 3.. DI ko lang sure kung ano result nag all out parehong band.. haha

I've heard the SBC Band play. Pareho lang ng tunog sa ibang NCAA band. Basura din. Don't ever compare BBB with SBC band okay? And besides, ang pinaka malakas sa NCAA eh yung Benilde. Why am I not surprised? Eh AnimoSquad din yung mga yun eh. :(
