One should never glide in opposite direction of hair growth, even gillette has posted about it on Instagram recently and many gynaecologists suggest the same to prevent ingrownth hair (which are sometimes very irritating and hurting specially in bikini area).
I’m happy you talked about that! Also, I got the most bang for my buck and freedom when I went in for laser hair removal for bikini hair! I may not wear bikini but personal hygiene/ bodily cleanliness is supremely important to feel good about myself. Razors can never achieve the detailed hair removal in that area besides being cumbersome to use. And the hair quality stays coarse growing back too soon. If you can afford laser hair removal, you may want to consider it for this area! Again not an advertisement for laser hair removal but as someone having thick Indian hair I feel grateful I could help myself with it! 😊 But glad for more and better products in that market to address this!

Girls c'mon cross your heart and be honest.....shaving IN THE DIRECTION of hair has never given the finish we need and we all shave it in the opposite direction no matter which area.....so yeah she is saying it "practically" right :)

No offence to your video, but removing bikini hair with a razor is not at all a good choice. Because when the hair grows again (after about 3/4 days) the small hairs causes so much irritation, itching in that area, which just makes you regret the decision of removing bikini hairs. I've tried it once with Gillette Venus razor only, I had a horrible experience,. I suffered with irritation & itching for a week when the hairs were growing again. So, I would not suggest removing bikini hairs with a razor, try some other method.

The hair around your bikini area are in fact unhygienic but hear me out first. After a certain time when you leave them unshaved bacteria starts to accumulate in them which is obviously not preferable and leaving them be can irritate the area around there as it is really sensitive

Same here I also do the trimming now in it is also effective rather thn shaving because a lot time after I shaved my pubic hair some tiny white pimples kindaa things happened and they were so itchy and and so many that I got terrified so after that I started trimming with scissors 😢

If you face irritation or bumps, then shave in the direction of growth, otherwise for a more smoother finish, do it in opposite direction.
