@@iLLuzion1st personally overall I loved dirt rally 1 more, graphics not as good as 2 but I think 1 was more raw and focused more on the great driving and has pikes peak
2 is prettier, seems to have way more rallycross included than it needed and still not a huge difference in cars from
The first 1.
Grab dirt rally 2 during a steam
Sale and you get it with all DLC for like £5
@@MrShortstint Thanks mate
Why dont i have the scotland stage in dr2 someone help plz
@spxzfn7 it may be in the Colin McRae DLC mate
@MrShortstint oh my bad cheers
Closest i got was 7:03 i gave up after that.
Almost mate
This achievement on PS4/5 has 4500 players under 7:00 & states 0.1% players achieved this? Doesn't seem right? Didn't know it existed. Had 3 runs, got a 6:58:016 & ended up about 3500 on leaderboard. Not sure it's as difficult as it is hidden.
@@geoganicus7238 I think it’s also because it’s only accessible if you get the dlc makes it more rare
@MrShortstint Agree. I just realised my leaderboard was set to multi platform. On (PS only) I'm 1163 & 1541 are under 7:00. My bad. Wasn't knocking your driving in any way either mate. It is very good.
@@geoganicus7238 appreciate it mate. Best thing though I’m glad the video enticed you to give it a go yourself!
@@MrShortstint That it did, & I honestly appreciate it. Thankyou.
If you gotta use the handbrake to get the car turning, you're doing something wrong (excluding tighter hairpins)
@lompsavitonen8629 Alright ken block, im sure you are an expert but I was more or less talking to the viewers who may not be as experienced as yourself lol
I literally said you can get it sideways using lift off oversteer as an example. Some people not as clued up
Yes I know, but I meant this for those that want to improve their driving. I used to use the handbrake too much so if someone wants to not make the mistakes I have made, then keep that in mind👍
Maximum attack!
I totally agree that the game is challenging enough with proper set-up, but Try being that good playing on a keyboard.
i looked at the speed an saw 100 i thought not that fast.then looked under and saw MPH
@@sum-m-guydz yeah man gotta be flat out for most of it
No do It without Paddle Shifters... 🤙
@@FloydIII Easy mate, however i
Did it how I wanted to do it.
People can complete this on a controller with auto gearing, leave them be 😆
@MrShortstint wasn't an Insult or a kick in the Dic Fam. No disrespect...
For the Immersion, your next challenge is with a Gear Shift. If your Set Up has one. Will be a big difference...
@@FloydIII I have done a video using
Full H pattern and Clutch mate, this was more of less a video showing an achievement for myself and others to try. But thanks for watching 🤟
@MrShortstint 🤙
i did this on xbox it was extremely difficult and annoying when u was like 5 sec of the 7 minute mark
@ummabole8710 almost mate!
I tried the game... gave up after less than a hour. If I drove carefully, I'd be passed. If I accelerated, I'd crash. I then tried Rally Cross. Despite winning every race, the instructions were about as clear as glass stained with octopus ink. For whatever reason, I had to repeat the same track over and over... This game is just... wrong.
@@MCPunk55 almost mate! Not easy but the more you play easier it gets usually
@MrShortstint Usually, yes, but this was not the case. Being forced to repeat the same stage for no reason didn't help. The actual DiRT Rally 2 is still the best to date.
Saw this, went into the game, did it in 5 tries, Xbox controller, I feel special don’t I
@@Brusherman alright Ken block 🤣
@ I wish this game had a 3rd lol
@@Brusherman me too, everyone keeps saying EA WRC is more or less dirt rally 3 but I don’t want to believe it. Not enough polish as dirt rally
i have the platinum + every DLC on 100% except the Colin Mcrae DLC - this shit is a nightmare, especially on a controller
frankieonpcin1080p?
@@goodj0b what’s that supposed to mean pal
Okay I'm going to grind this untill I get. (What did I just do to myself)
Edit: I did it.
Just realised I have it
@@submar1n59 wel done
Yeah no thanks. I'm usually in the top third on the leader board and that's plenty good for me. Maybe if I had a wheel I'd try but I play on a ROG Ally only.
@@clintk4691 you could probably still do it then as it’s technically a controller. Good being top third though
I've got the plat on PlayStation
@@Velaxity well done
rbr you want to be playing for hard achievements dude
@@philmarsden9594 some day I’ll download it again. Currently enjoying the simplicity of WRC and DR2
Doesn't seem that challenging if you got this even with a crash and reversing.
@@FOREST10PL just too quick mate 🤣
It’s not that challenging if you take the learn the track
@@MrShortstint Hmm, yeah, I think you might be really good at DR 2.0. I'm maining WRC but I tried this and certainly, I had to get used to DR 2.0 handling. I think it took me 6 tries too complete this challenge. I did a 6:55 but without a crash so was probably slower on average.
"0.5%...really?!
I'd like to read how you managed to test thousands of gamers to be able to make such a claim.
