Standby time, battery runtime, routine perf charts vs m3, m4, meteor lake, and amd 8000 and most importantly power consumption and perf/watt. Thanks. Can't wait for the review!
@harishprabhu02 By the looks of it, SXE is only competitive with current-gen Intel and AMD chips in terms of performance (and not efficiency), and it's lagging in ST performance compared to M3 chip. My guess is Lunar Lake and Strix Point will be much better in terms of both perf. and efficiency when released. I just wanted to know how much of the performance delta we're looking at when comparing SXE to the new M4. I know some benchmarking tools won't run on ipadOS, and M4 won't be using its full potential due to cooling constraints, but either way, it's useful data, and if the M4 perform better (and it will) then there's even a much a bigger gap between Apple and Qualcomm in ARM realm when Macbooks with M4 release later in the year.
@@MatthewMoniz awesome! btw power plan and power mode are different, in control panel, hardware and sound theres a power option there that actually operates independently of the power mode you find in the normal windows settings, up to you of course whether thats too much for a regular user to mess with and how relevant it is for your reviews and testing. :)
you don't need test, just learn about the specs you'll know how fast is the laptop and everything but if you don't know better watch videos like reviews
That is true. I’ll still gladly buy it since Linux has substantially better ARM support. Still looking forward for power efficient CPUs becoming more available, really don’t care if they’re ARM or X86
Can we code well on this laptop?..yes i've heard VS code runs well on it ....but apart from that what about othet software? Like anaconda , eclipse etc ? Can we install software for machine learning , data science etc ?
for intel, only the intel core ultra has battery life competitive with what amd always had also it depends on the laptop, the asus vivobook with snapdragon is the worst in battery compares to other snapdragon laptops like the surface asus used very high wattage in the chip, so yes there is a clear difference in battery in favor of the snapdragon compared to both intel and amd
Does it have an unlocked bootload can you install linux? What works like out of wifi, bluetooth, npu, screen brightness, audio, sleep without draining battery, etc?
@@yensteel Surprisingly not, it feels just right to me. I say surprisingly, as I know exactly what you mean. I also have another Lenovo PC, the Legion 7i Pro. The keys on that need quite a bit of force as the resistance of them is quite firm. I've found the new Yoga to be just about perfect for me in terms of typing feel. Not as shallow as a Macbook, but not the resistance of the other Lenovo laptops either. It's a nice middle ground between the two. Great depth and just the right amount of resistance to make for a satisfying typing experience.
This thing is pretty.
It very is!
I like how simple the packaging is. Money should be spent on the product not the beauty of the box.

Well the M4 is now only on the iPad Pro, so why that?

How good run productivity apps like browsers, office, notion and Design Apps like Adobe 👍🏼
Can we get some gaming benchmarks? Like valorant/XDefiant etc? There is no solid review yet
Sure no problem I’ll include valorant
@@MatthewMoniz thanks man
My man will just refuse to properly close notebooks in the right way for ever.
I just wanted to know whether Citrix workspace works on it. Cause I really wanted this to be my office laptop
Citrix workspace works well 🔥
Can we do some video editing performance test?
Can you make sure the windows power plan isn't on balanced and is instead on performance if you're going to test performance?
I always test everything on better performance except when I do a battery test

❤ looks good 😍🔥😍
@MatthewMoniz fantastic video, what do you think about the viability of alternateb OS support in the foreseeable future? 🤔
Supper excited!
And yes I know the irony I responded to my own comment LOL 😢
Hope to run Linux too
Can it multitask on 4 monitors!?
This is the one I'm looking forward to. What power modes does it have and how is battery during sleep, also temps.
Can you try booting it from a Linux USB stick?
LTE or 5G sim tray model?
Financial options from Lenovo
Its gonna take a while before ARM on Windows has lots of compatibility for apps compared to apple when they first released their M1 chips ♥️👌

Can we play games on it , video editing and Linux support please 🙏
If someone replies to this pls let me know as well😊

Full review please
Is there a USB hub in the box? considering the lack of port variety
No I didn’t see one
I wonder whats the maximum “Watts” you can charge it with
Which laptop you'll advise for a regular office going person within 1500 bucks? Awaiting for your response
Why to tradeoff gaming for slightly better battery when Intel AMD has massively improved its graphics along with battery life ? Hope you answer it.

How’s the keyboard on this one.?😊
How is Adobe Premiere Pro doing on this laptop ?
Great looking laptop, except it does not have a headphone jack
Standby time is key!!!
Can u include eGPU compatibility
I also want to know
Does it have an unlocked bootload can you install linux? What works like out of wifi, bluetooth, npu, screen brightness, audio, sleep without draining battery, etc?
what is the best overall snapdragon laptop (in your opinion)
Everything looks great. But why this reverse notch? Other brands can have slim camera too.
Compet with Samsung edge4
Does blender rendering work smoothly?
It's gonna snap in more ways than the CPU
What about the price?
How much is the price
How much cost in India
How thin is that thing
Laptop hardware is atrocious and will stay that way
MacBook killer
Can it video edit

How is the keyboard compared to other laptops?
People say it is the best out there
Picked mine up yesterday. It's fantastic for typing. Extremely tactile and well spaced. Beats my M1 Pro 16 inch.
It's ok .but mines is slow
@@Alex_Hoss Great to hear. Does it need a lot of force to type on? The Thinkpad Xtreme 2 I had before needed a lot of force.
