I'm excited to see this up! This series has been one of the most thorough tutorials I've made to date, I wanted to cover the process as thoroughly as possible.
@@waqqas6799 That's known as the color set panel. it's a default panel. You can drag and move it to another location that you'd like. Unless you mean the swatches next to the ruler buttons, just right click up in that space and click "Add Drawing Color"
I just wish they didnt lock the amount of frames behind EX. I'm lacking in the funds to upgrade but I have a lot of ideas for videos that would look much better animated than in animatic form.
Really lookin' forward to Part 2 (and beyond?). I know a fair bit of the functionality, but there are a number of features I don't yet understand, and it's probably making my life harder than it needs to be.
I wish I knew about this series sooner This is going to be amazing!! My body acts and now I'm going to use it to its full extent. Thanks to this. Fantastic work as always zedrin
This is helpful, but I watched your other tutorial and this one I gotta ask, why you don't just go File>New and select the symbol for animation instead of comic? It has all those menus nicely arranged for you to view in just one window and saves you from hunting for it through other menus, granted I'm using EX, I've never used the Pro version. I dunno maybe an update put all those menus in one spot recently. Sorry it just seemed to me it makes it more complicated and easy to get lost in. Thank you for making this tutorial by the way.
i'm super late answering this, but IMO it's useful to know how to add animation to any file you're already working on. The animation default settings can be a bit superfluous. They work fine, but I just like my interface to be cleaner. And it's not actually that much work to get a timeline going either. I've had a TON of things that started as single frame sketches and then thought "hrm, I'ma turn this into a quick animation."
Your UI is super dark, I love it! I've checked my options and I can't get the UI so dark as you do. I've Clip Studio Paint EX and the slider to dark isn't that dark that you have. How can I get more darker UI? Thanks for the help!
Could you help me, I would love to know if I can apply a mask all over an animation? for example if I have an animated pattern and i want to have a mask, a shape of a dress, for example? Thank you !
I’ve got a question for the tutorial-er, or for the comments section. I post my animations primarily to Twitter, what size and dpi would you recommend for posting to Twitter specifically to avoid crunching the image? The animations are almost always 10 to 12 seconds long. Thanks in advance!
Is it actually possible to turn an illustration into an animation? When i'm using the animation folder, my drawing disappears. I thought of using an animation folder for the background, foreground and character. Guess what, everything disappeared. XD i'm so confused.
I've got a question regarding only being able to make gifs with pro, would it be possible to make a full cartoon or animation if you use multiple gif animations and put them together in say another app like an editing app?
Oh no, in pro you'll be given only 24 frames and I don't think you would be able to do that in such a small amount of frames. But you can use EX as you can make many frames and you're able to actually do that-
@@saxenart this is like a year ago, but for anyone else seeing this, csp has an audio file feature in the timeline. its very picky on what file formats work and whatnot but you can get it to work with patience.
all i wanna know is how to animate a cute talking character to put into my videos and how i should do it. - first i gotta learn how to animate in csp XD
@@kanatawastaken2690 I think you can, but it's still counted as 1a, and not 2, which I want it to be. Not sure tho, it's been a while since I tried animating (especially since I broke my stylus lol)
Yeah because that is not meant to be shown {If that's how you say it-} but If you're confused you just need to add an animation folder from the timeline {Icon will be shown as a folder with + sign}
Honestly- I love csp and krita both since I used Krita first {I still do-} and it was comfy but I had to use csp my friend said it was great and it is tbh- but Krita is too!

Hey, is Hero the Dense series still going?

I like that voice. I would love to hear it ramble about like, strawberries or something
Same
Honestly, same.
Same tho

Oh, that's like really sad but you can use a open animation software!
Krita is a great alternative. The only thing I don't like about Krita is that it doesn't have light tables implemented like Clip Studio Paint.
This is really awesome! Thank you so much for the explanation and how you go about it, Zedrin. Looking forward to the next part
OOOHH, I like this kind of movement, the body squishing and the motion of the sword, this is what I would like to learn :D
Me too, like seriously it's *interesting*
So we'll explained! Can't wait for the next parts.

I- wow! This felt so natural and was sooooo helpful! Like, thank you!
this was really helpful thank you!!
Thank you so much for this! I was having such a hard time teaching myself the UI.
It took my tiny brain 3 hours to work out the tools but I did it! Just kinda play around an eventually you get it.
Yea! You're right!
Ohhh thats why I couldnt add more frames. Man that sucks cuz animating on clip is way easier for me

Hurray! I love Zedrin!
Please, we want to explain the basics of using animation on the phone, because I do not know how to add another drawing to the animation. ❤❤❤
Can we add sound in animation on clip studio for iPad?

does frame rate selection also effect the audio you can work with?

can i just draw then frames seperate then copy paste them in?
Hi csp, If I want to make dance animation, how can I sync my animation with the music?
I think the best way to add stuff is to save the animation and add the songs on a video editing program.

Okay but rq what is the song in the background called?
Does anyone know how to copy a cell/layer and put it on a new cell that you can then remove/add to without it being called 1a?
Still looking for answers?
@@antisocialartist9944 ye
I don't really know but I am pretty sure you can rename it to anything you like! instead of being called 1a

@@Klara.H Oh ok, Thanks for informing and oof-
Iam try to select and copy lines of my frame o second frame but its not copy it and I don't know way?
Oh here is your answer then!
You need to reight click it then it'll show some options click paste and then copy anywhere in the timeline you want to!
when i do a new layer in animation folder, it is visible in the layer but doesnt appear in the timeline :(
Yeah because that is not meant to be shown {If that's how you say it-} but If you're confused you just need to add an animation folder from the timeline {Icon will be shown as a folder with + sign}
I need help on The Android/Ver.
and how can I use more than 24 fps?
Just add them {If you're on CSP EX- but if not it can't be helped really-}
A mimir
👌👌👌
i cant even draw on the layers help
Noice
Yeah I didn't get why the 'easier way' was easier at all.
its simpler in terms of convenience, still can be tricky to understand though
👏👏👏👏👏😺
My brain is too small to understand the function of specify cels as a beginner animator lol
Same but I explored it myself and found it comfortable and understanding. I guess you just have to play around a bit!
