    TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS
ABRSM’s recommended tempo for this piece is 116 bpm, as played in this video.
A steady tempo is required throughout, with careful attention to the contrasting articulation and dynamics. The staccato right-hand notes on the first two bars must be crisp, light and playful, as should be the staccato left-hand stabs on those opening bars. Tied right-hand notes must be given their full value, but not played longer than required.. for example, in bar 1 - beat 4, the left-hand accented notes should be heard entirely on their own - without the right-hand note still being held - the same consideration applies to bars 2, 5, 6, 17 and 18. (Basically watch out for crotchet rests on beat 4!)
On bars 10, 11, 14 and 15 there are tenuto markings on beat 4 (the little line above or below the notes) so be sure to give these notes their FULL VALUE.. do not play them staccato. I found that quickly dabbing the sustain pedal at those points worked well and allowed me to raise my hands off the keys slightly sooner, whilst still keeping the required length of the notes.
Care should be taken to develop a really nice gradual crescendo from bars 19 - 22, culminating in a very strong accented final chord with pause,

This seems pretty hard for grade 1
