they made one but it didn't get released because of publishing problems i still don't know why they didn't get someone else to publish it or why no one has done it themselves
Somewhat spoilery, but everything from owl-bears to skeleton warriors to weird-looking giraffes to giant worms. Seriously, they had some pre-tty diverse strata this go-round.
+arghnothingworks oh okay lol so it's basically the chip tune version of the song then right? lol I wonder how the original sounds lol i thought they were going to use this one since I thought they might have being for a retro theme but I'm sure the original is ten times better! especially the riff near the end
FM Synthesis, or as it is known in full as Frequency Modulation Synthesis, is the use of Frequencies like sine waves, and shaping them (modulating) into different sounds. In short, since this was widely used in SEGA's products and other old-school things like the PC-Engine, it can be thought of as the alternative to chiptune when done in this way.
I thought I was ready for this.
I told myself I was ready for this.
I wasn't ready for this.
Nice to see they're including FM versions as well!
Although it's gonna be paid DLC. It's gonna cost 800 ¥, which is just short of 8$.
I wish there was an FM synthesis version of the EO4 soundtrack.
they made one but it didn't get released because of publishing problems
i still don't know why they didn't get someone else to publish it or why no one has done it themselves
Augh, that's annoying as hell :L
That's just awesome! It's not even a remake but still, there's FM music versions!
BGMs are still the best things ever. EO pulls all the punches
I wonder what kind of FOEs we'll have now?
But FM music is great. I love both soundtracks so its a nice touch.
+conan263 close, boxing owl-bear.
No, I'm not kidding.
Two headed wolves.
Somewhat spoilery, but everything from owl-bears to skeleton warriors to weird-looking giraffes to giant worms.
Seriously, they had some pre-tty diverse strata this go-round.
this sounds so clean
good!
Okay, so this is coming as a DLC.....Hope it's free of charge (I doubt it though...)
Already confirmed to be Paid DLC, but as long as the price isn't too high this is worth it. It sounds amazing.
+Xashowd Well, as I expected......But yeah as long as it's not too expensive, I am okay with that.
It's gonna be 800 yen, according to Famitsu.
+spiritskyes 800yen....well seems reasonable to me at least
So in love with this battle theme right now T_T.
awesome
This gives me Classic Sonic vibes.
I was just thinking that XD It was for a split second, but I thought of Sega
It's a very SEGA-y tune, thats for sure. Really digging it.
That based Yamaha YM-2151 chip
Yuzo Koshiro baby!
AMERICAN RELEASE WHEN
dat end... (insert "Kreygasm" here)
Sega genesis as fuck.
It felt more SNES-y to me, idk why.
Intend to buy
what's fm?
FM synthesis. Basically, it's the way old games played their music depending on which sound processor was in the console/platform/
+arghnothingworks oh okay lol so it's basically the chip tune version of the song then right? lol I wonder how the original sounds lol i thought they were going to use this one since I thought they might have being for a retro theme but I'm sure the original is ten times better! especially the riff near the end
+arghnothingworks oh and thanks for explaining+
