Rash is the perfect example of a guest character. Nothing against all the other guest fighters in other games, they're all unique and special in their own way but Rash, is just the perfect definition of a fighting game guest character. He's cocky, animated, and brings all the wild slapstick humor to a serious looking game. Although I haven't played this game yet, I think this needs more love and recognition than it did before.

They were just thrown in along with the other guest characters when you had a bunch of characters in the game to be a full game roster list even with the newbies but no let's just shove in Alien, Predator, Leatherface and Jason Voorhees for absolutely no reason even though the other ones they included like Tanya (return to the game) Bo Rai Cho (admittedly a better version), Tremor, and even triborg work. Plus you had the potential to bring back in Rain, Baraka, and Fujin but no let's not do that for the sequel to one of the best reboots of a fighting game that has a library of favorite characters

Let's take a moment to appreciate how the opening 8-bit portion references the original game's speedrunning community. You know, the guys that wow everyone with their astounding skill and dedication to one of the most notoriously difficult NES games in existence. And yes, it is probably a great workout for the Toads.

While it does obviously have the same animators as Rise of the TMNT, that show looks pretty great in motion, and the gameplay is very smooth. Honestly, I think the issue is simply that people either don't like the style, or wanted a grittier version of the characters that people have associated with them for so long, but that's just a theory. Personally, I'm down for playing the new game. Do I think it'll be amazing? No, not really, but it looks like a fun classic beat-em-up, which is always a ton of fun with friends.

I picked rash and we had to turn off the games because when he would morph into a wrecking ball his skin became extremely hyper realistic and fleshy looking to us. It was so much so that it was like looking at a nutsack through a microscope and our little psychedelic infused brains could not handle anything that visually detailed so we shut off the Xbox and watched the clouds for 6 hours till we came down.
They almost made a comeback a few times :/ A Battletoads game for the Game Boy Advance was in development, but it got scrapped. Same with a supposed game for Xbox 360.

They both suck. Killer instinct doesn't have good button inputs, and smash bro's is whatever button you press to fight. Mortal kombat is better.
