Definitely want to stock up my kitchen now and totally stealing your tip for writing down meal ideas while unpacking! I am always excited when I’m unpacking groceries but then somehow they go in their place in the fridge or somewhere and I completely forget about it. Thanks ! Enjoyed it

One of the few grocery hauls I actually enjoyed watching, I think because we are in the same city and also we seem to cook similar types of foods. I also tend to buy the same things every week, I consider them essentials like frozen spinach, mushrooms, canned tomatoes, etc. I was wondering if you've ever tried ordering from Rewe? We usually do a large order approximately every 2 weeks. I am tempted to try Amazon Fresh too, although there's a bit of personal hesitance since I try to avoid anything with Amazon to be honest. I am curious how it compares with Rewe though. We also go through a ton of milk so now we buy the H-Milk, 1 box at a time (12 cartons). They store outside of the fridge until opened so it's easier because we also have a super small fridge. Anyways, look forward to your recipes with frozen fish.

AmazonFresh is the only online grocery service I used here in Germany. Back in France we also tried deliveries from Carrefour but it was far less "perfect". Rewe is my favorite supermarket here in Munich so I would would also be curious to see how does it compare for Amazon. But Amazon is very addictive. They clearly do an effort to give the customer a good experience and now I cannot imagine what would i do without then 😭🤣 thank you for your comment and yes, the next week's video with five quick dinner ideas is well in progress 🙌🤗

you seldom post long videos so i was settled down to watch it eagerly. I still prefer to go and select groceries myself as people here are not so honest and may send those that are not so fresh. And here we still use plastic bag as those paperbags cost more here. The compacted white fish, i have never seen before, our frozen ones are sliced. Wow that fish dish you will feature next week looks good. I like that your fridge is flushed into the cupboard. really nice. Your cappu cup looks really nice. i too put milk in my tea or coffee. i seldom eat cauliflower, but becos of you i bought and ate it with my mushroom soup. Your shallots are longish in shape, ours is round...that is why its always interesting to watch in other countries. Cant wait to see how you cook with all those ingredients!

Thank you Aileen for passing by 🤗 ah yes, I know that in Asia you use much more plastic in general and we are yet to find a perfect alternative that wouldn't be as bad for the environment. Here in Germany, when you do grocery shopping yourself you can choose not to get much plastic. Most vegetables you can simply put in a paper bag or even in your own reusable one. Even better on the street markers (once or twice a week local farmers sell their products) where you can even get mushrooms and salad without packaging. But of course, this cost more and is more difficult to store.

Yes, I noticed it while my travels to Asia. Sometimes every apple was wrapped in plastic. I'm glad that in Germany people are in general conscious about the environment. But there is always place for improvement... I hope we will be soon able to finds an environmentally friendly alternative for those plastic wraps 🤞🍀
