You didn't notice that Tecra was fully awake and alive and able to talk and walk even when she came to Nairobi for further treatment. Why then couldn't she just say what had happened to her? Did DCI interview her? What did she say happened to her? Do you think she would keep silent after being attacked by Omar??

Omar Lali like most coastal guys is very humble and down to earth,its very easy to fall for them! He is a gentle soul and very genuine in nature.... trying to control such a man is impossible, and remember Tecra was an alcoholic but Lali was a social drinker, and an older focused man, the relationship was slowly becoming toxic, Tecra being the problematic one.

The family should point the finger at themselves first. Tecra was a twenty something year old spoiled rich kid alcoholic and drug addict living in Lamu with a beachboy twice her age for almost a year. That should tell you about her character. Let's think harder. Tecra was talking while being taken to hospital, she was talking on the flight to Nairobi, she was talking when she got to Nairobi. She was smart and outgoing and vocal ( e.g. she told Omar to stop interfering with her alcohol, because she does not interfere with his miraa). If she had all these qualities, why couldn't she tell anyone that she had been attacked? I'm glad Kenya has very sharp and impartial judges, who depend on evidence rather than conspiracies and feelings.
