2020 Mercury Prize winner Michael Kiwanuka takes on a song written by his idol Bill Withers, accompanied by Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. - Видеоклипы
It’s very hard not to try and imitate Bill, but you could believe this was one of Michael’s own songs
I was lucky to catch him live he is such a talent
Love the fact that he was clapping his hands. That, on it's own, shows his love for music.
Absolutely captured the soul of this song and owned it for his moment in time. Loved it
I guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot my password. I would love any assistance you can give me.

@Ameer Dylan no problem xD
Wow the talent on show last night in terms of singers and musicians was something else. The power of the voices amazing top marks to Jools Holland and the production team. Also London fireworks and Alecia Keys.
gorgeous. one of the best covers i’ve ever heard
A beautiful rendition. Well done Michael!
Wow!! Love this song and this artist, What a combo 👌👌
Loved this 🤍 wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year
Best thing to come out of 2020, sung with feeling.
Even tho they dont have the same vocal range , that interpretation was really really good ! His grain of voice added something to the song which I really enjoyed ! Withers would be proud
Beautifully sung and played.
Michael should release this as a single.
Gave me chills...stay strong everyone.
who are the 3 that dislike this, i need to understand there mind set
I hope they're just Bill Withers loyalists and not stupid trolls who think Little Baby and Billie Eilish are the pinnacle of achievement in music.
Great show...loved every performance including this
Amazing performance

Wow!!! That’s was brilliant
Would have been spectaculair with a choir.💗 He has the voice for it.😊
Good vibes 💓❤️
Would love it if you can upload "You Ain't The Problem" from the show too, it was incredible!
Très beau 👏🙏...
I was listening to this in the background and thought this was actually Bill Whiters.
Took a little while to get going...nerves ? Without instrument?
Hope to catch him live this year🤞
RIP Bil Withers
Greattttt !!!
Waoh !!!
respect💪🏻
For such a rubbish evening of NYE telly overall, this was by far my favourite bit. Glad I didn't switch over for this performance! (Alicia bloody Keys, honestly 🙄😂)
Chris o - fair one mate I flicked about a bit and must say personally I enjoyed Alicia Keys tho she did kinda murdered the Coldplay track. Jools show was something else.
❤❤❤❤❤
This is great, but why not upload his other performance ('You Ain't The Problem') as well?
❤️
This proves that we come back in other bodies.
Quick
golgie oldie
Tuneless.
Sounds like Kevin hart imitating drunk white girl in his stand up performance. No hard feelings 😅
As an industry, we need support and not sympathy. This song is tired for emotional causes. Well played, but Jesus, cmon. Pick something to actually help an industry that’s been forgotten about.
I thought his voice was too weak. It was just a very underwhelming performance. The BBC are getting desperate with their desire to be "woke."
how is it 'woke'? because a successful black artist is singing a song by another successful black artist? michael kiwanuka isn't a new thing? he's very well respected? and this song has no particularly political message?
fair enough thinking the performance wasn't up to scratch but lol what the fuck are you on about with the latter comment
@@florencecg9749 agreed with you
Idiots like you will see a black singer on the telly and throw a tantrum crying "woke! woke!". It's just pathetic really.
