Destin native. Nice I remember being 17 years old. My best friend and I met some out of town southern boys and drove back following them to a house in Burnt Pines at Sandestin on the bay side. Owned by one of the boys parents as a summer home. The next thing I remember was stepping foot inside a house that looks very similar!! 😂 Ha, the next thing I know we are hanging out with the guys in the living room. They decide to go change because we were already in our suits from enjoying the day at the beach. While the 2 gents were changing my best friend decided, “hey let’s get out of here before something bad happens that we will regret”. The guys were 19 & 20. Ok, so the guys were in bedroom/bathroom changing, so on the way out my bestie decides to grab their Crown Royal in the purple bag it comes in. I was ahead as she stopped, and I was already basically in the car. I assumed she was pouring shots or a drink. Lmao, boy was I wrong. Out walks my friend with the bottle telling me to turn the car on and put it in reverse. I ask why. She replies because I have the crown royal. She hops in the car just after I put the car in reserve, then took off like a bat out of hell. She then told me they were coming out after me. Yes, they were coming out after the both of us. The guys came running out in their swim shorts, no shoes, hopped in their truck, as we just pulled out of their driveway. We were able to get some of a good lead, but by the time we made it to the main guard gate they were on us! We made it out onto hwy 98, onto the beach road “Ole Scenic Hwy 98”, the 2-lane beach road. We thought we had lost them in the shopping center area at the time. It was the building that had an old TCYB ice cream/yogurt shop. Well they definitely saw us turn into that area and had caught back up. I then bolted back onto Old Scenic 98 and then ducked into a side road directly across from Pompanos Joe’s Restaurant. I remember pulling into a driveway type car port back then at a beach house that was older then as it is now. We were able to, however watch as they drove by on Scenic. They were behind a good line of cars, it was the month of July. Once we gave it a minute we hopped back out onto Scenic in the same direction, in hopes they would take the main Hwy 98 back to Sandestin. They were approximately 7-8 cars ahead on Scenic as we could tell because we came by Destiny by the Sea houses at that turn heading west. Once we noticed they were making their way up the road to the Crab 🦀 Shack boardwalk area, we took a right into Destiny, had the code (knew friends that lived in both subdivisions), then came out onto hwy 98 on that side. Once we did that we were back on the main hwy 98, and they were nowhere to be found. lol they were still cruising down Old Scenic possibly, who knows. Sorry, I know that was a long story, and this has nothing to do with this listing, but man did it bring back some high school summer time memories! Plus this house does look like the house we were in, however that Community has several homes, condos, villas, you name it. Absolutely a gorgeous area and would be a wonderful place to live for anyone! I love how everything is surrounded by the oak, pine trees, magnolia trees, the moss hanging, and shade all throughout the community. Bonus is you can enjoy riding your golf cart, bike, roller blade, and walk the dogs all throughout the entire bayside community allowed sections of Sandestin. No need to worry about driving your car up to the award winning championship Golf Courses on property too. Just take the golf cart, lol I am telling you… your family will want a golf cart and will be so tickled once they have it riding up to the courses or Clubhouse in style. Schools out there are fantastic. Sacred Heart Hospital is within golf cart, vehicle or even maybe for some walkable distance from Sandestin, bay side. Lastly, not to mention the grocery store, popular shopping mall, a few restaurants including Emeril’s are within golf cart distance for most. Excellent Community! Movie Stars, Film producers, George Jones, Songwriters, famous Authors, owned homes in the area! Ok, ok, I am done! Awesome home, great video, and once again, I am so happy I stumbled across this. It brought back funny memories for me.
Please inquire if Mr.Morar can express new construction properties in the Gold Coast Treasure areas and other surfing communities there. With 4-5 rooms and baths, let's not forget the pool-jacuzzi on the pads.
Thank you for your feedback! The good news is that we’re currently under contract. The sellers put a lot of heart and effort into bringing this home to its fullest potential, which played a big part in its current value. In this case, the buyer is a former CFO who approached the purchase with a very calculated mindset, thoroughly assessing the investment. As with all properties, market demand ultimately drives value. I’m constantly reminded that things often turn out differently than we might expect-and that’s what keeps me excited about this industry every day.

let me know specifically what I can provide and I will certainly do my best to meet your request.
Blake, youre due for a video! :)
I was just thinking about that this morning. Anything specific you want to see?
9:28 am do they do Airbnb for this house
Burnt Pine is rental restricted neighborhood. Long term rentals only.
Ridiculously overpriced. This house sold 3 years ago for $1.85 million. Now they want $3.65 mil?? Is that supposed to be a joke?🤣🤣🤣
