it's not a game, it's a flash animation series called Super Mario Bros. Z - this movie has many cutscenes from that - if you're a sonic/mario series fan, watching it is a must!

it's a mix of sonic and shadow with mario's world. mecha sonic destroyed sonic's world looking for the chaos emeralds. shadow used chaos control to warp the emeralds to another world(mario's) so sonic and shadow visit the mushroom kingdom to race against mecha sonic in getting the emeralds with mario's gang's help
