The pace of restoration is very slow..the streets of walled city are still dirty...wazir khan mosque restoration is still not completed...a full pace is needed for restoring the whole walles city..

Exactly what I was thinking as well. Properties should be bought off from private residents. Might sound a bit forceful but perhaps gov. can make it so they cannot be transferred to the next generation of owners rather they can be paid for it at the market price. Slippery slope I know but its a start.

Hopefully the WLA may be able to get funded for this as well if they bring in staff from foreign embassies and show them this work. The whole inner city of Lahore should be a prime tourist spot. Should be filled with museums about not just Lahore but our Indus valley civilization should be explored as well. Virtual reality and AI (language learning models) be explored to bring old personalities back to life. Perhaps people can rent virtual reality goggles and roam around looking at the various building with popups that can show it was like way back. Perhaps they can talk to babur in virtual AI manner. Furthermore like Amsterdam lots and lots of art museums.
