Every few years we hear the word ‘wonder kid’ being thrown around left and right by both fans and the media. They’re called wonderkids for a reason - compared to the rest of their peers, they stand above in skill, technique, athleticism, or whatever it is that makes you think that this person can be at the top of their generation. But that’s the thing - we’ll never know if these up and coming youngsters actually live up to their name, or end up being a massive disappointment.
But what makes Brazilian wonderkid Endrick Felipe special, is that at only 16 years old, an insane amount of money was put where the hype is - an over 60 million euros bet made by Real Madrid to sign him to come and play for them when he's old enough. That’s right, the most prestigious club in football history spent a bag and signed what many believe to be the next Ronaldo or Romario. So today, we're gonna look at just how good Endrick is and see if he really worth the insane price tag.

if he gets a ballon dor he ties ronaldo for youngest ever. the og real ronaldo r9, even though he should of hands down won it in 96 to but got screwed by a single point. Ronaldo scored 5 goals in his first ever pro game at 15 or 16 years old. He still to this day holds the record for most nutmegs, was both legged ambidextrous he didnt have a weak side, him using both legs so hard is why he blew out both his knee caps. His first season with fc barca he also scored 47 in 49, he was a goal a game player before he took his first knee injury. Even after injured, he took brazil to a world cup and got golden boot with 8, a number people still rarely reach it prior to 2022 mbabbe having 8, before ronaldo did it in 2002 the last time anyone scored 8 goals in a world cup was like the 1950s. There was only 1 game ronaldo didnt score in and that was vs england that world cup. In the final and semi he scored 2, in the final he scored 2 under 90 min goals, no pks either.

Brazilian Ronaldo is still the biggest Wonderkid at 16 ever seen in football.
Endrick is a wonderkid but Ronaldo was Supernatural Wonderkid.
People forget that Ronaldo scored 44 goals in 47 games with Cruzeiro, scored 5 goals in match vs Bahia, won Copa do Brasil at just 16. Make it to Brazil world cup squad at just 17.
If you are impressed with Endrick, remember that Ronaldo was 10times more Impressive.

he has all time potential, but real should definitely have some people around him to guide him until he's 18 and moves over. Staying humble and working hard is very important at his age and being in Brazil for 2 more years carries plenty of risks when he's already so hyped and expensive.
Also I wouldn't say his composure is better than Gavi's, different positions and Gavi was playing and dominating top european players at age of 16, there's a massive difference in quality there as well. One can be hyped without talking nonsense on other just as impressive players, and tbh, Gavi already has 75 matches played for Barca's 1st team, 17 for Spanish NT and 18 goal contributions for top 10 club and country in the world, which is kinda insane for a midfielder.
Endrick still has a long way to go to touching Gavi's, Pedri's, Musiala's success, talent is there, but being in Brazil until age of 18 will put so much pressure on him to be direct success once he moves over.
And there are quite a bit more talented youngsters in Brazil - recently bought by Chelsea Andrey Santos is also incredible talent, Jude Bellingham of Brazil, Vitor Roque at age of 17 is dominating u20 south american CONMEBOL with 5 goals in 5 matches.
We'll see Endrick in couple of years, hopefully dominating European football
